The Republican appointees on the Supreme Court gutted Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act in their Louisiana v. Callais decision. Here are my thoughts:

@Patriot9_11 What year was this? I also enter in LA. Back then MEPs was located Rodeo Drive just off of La Brea in the Baldwin Hills area. The hotel I stayed at was next to the “Great Western” Forum. I believe it was called the Airport Hotel which was torn down where So-Fi Stadium now stands.

I awoke this morning and over my 1st cup of coffee began writing in my book...it was about how I had said my goodbye to my folks and siblings when my recruiter picked me up. I had the clothes on my back and about $100 in my pocket. Was dropped of at a old hotel in downtown Los Angeles and checked in and told what time to be in the lobby the next morning for the bus to take me to MEPS! That night their were people from everywalk of life and color that was checked in by their recruiters. Male and females. Some showed signs of home sickness, some fear of not knowing what awaited them. Seems as if their were little parties on every floor 90% of all check in's were recruits headed for MEPS. As always we broke off into our little clicks, black, whites, Hispanics, others. Some just mixed in with these groups cause that's how they grew up in their communities and they were accepted. Little did we know that this would be the last time for "little clicks" ( self segregation). We were headed for branches of service in the Armed Forces that didn't play that shit. So 1st night leaving home I stayed in a females room, she had enlisted in the Marine Corps and I in the Army. We exchanged addresses.

This is exactly what I mean when I say the democrats take our Black American story to give immigrants the glory They accumulate resources based on our plight in this country then add on immigrants by falsely equating the two separate stories smh They really had the nerve to sing OUR song to drown this Black American elder out from telling the truth WeAllWeGot fam!

@RepMaxwellFrost @Rolandsmartin please share if folks w/TPS can vote? If not, how do they have so many in Congress fighting specifically for them? What’s their secret so we can share it with the American Freedmen who you’re telling have to vote FIRST, before we can get a “Schoolhouse Rock” bill?

Right now, 350,000+ Haitians in the U.S. are at risk of losing Temporary Protected Status and being forced back into instability and violence. I urge my colleagues to vote “yes” tomorrow to protect TPS and do what is right.

@EastPointMadeMe American Freedmen did something for us. After building the country we fought for civil rights & won! Dems betrayed Freedmen for illegals. Incorporating them into OUR struggle & giving them ALL our hard fought gains. Illegal immigration has destroyed our cities & services.
