@frankefoster It took me years to kill this mentality where I work. Silver lining: at least you were told the reason for the rejection.

Got a rejection from a job today due to me not having a degree. It doesn't matter that I have years of experience in the industry or that I have a proven track record. Flat out "we aren't going forward" due to no degree. Frustrating.

It’s weird to me when someone mentions that they don’t know something and yet they haven’t thought of googling it 🤷‍♂️ Surely you shouldn’t have to “think” of doing it anymore.

I can't lie... I find it so unprofessional when you apply for a job, and you never hear back from the company. Regardless of whether you got it or not. The company should let you know! I applied for a job about five months ago and haven't heard a peep... like what!

@Zbijelic I’m not sure what I could build in 1-2 hours. I know I overthink and have to fight the urge of “striving for perfection”, but I’d still be sipping coffee and thinking of ideas in that time 🤣

I can’t stand someone giving me the “hard sell”. I guess it works on people seen as it’s still being used long after we all criticised the “used car salesman” stereotype. Personally, it just pisses me off and makes me not want to do business 🤷‍♂️

@alex_skazka I thought patches were an “old school” approach but they’re what did it for me in the end. They took the edge off the withdrawals to make it manageable. Double good luck 👍

@ios_dev_alb Used a Magic Mouse for years. Love it. I have no doubt there was a reason they put the charging port on the bottom, they didn’t just mess up 🤣 It lasts ages on a charge anyway so it’s probably not as much of a problem as you might think.
