@LumoTravel I need to travel tomorrow. I have had to now purchase a more expensive ticket on a different operator, as you provided no help or alternatives. I understand the storm situation but I’ve been waiting on the phone for an hour and still no help and now out of pocket 👍🏼

@JessSmith97 If you wish to travel today, we are waiting to see if tickets can be accepted on services or you can purchase a new ticket and refund your original ticket. ^Charlotte

@LumoTravel I was meant to get the 7:57 train from Newcastle tomorrow to London King’s Cross, can I get on any train operator or does it have to be a lumo train?

@LNER I booked a ticket on the 7:57 train from Newcastle to London King’s Cross through lumo on your website however I have just been told it’s been cancelled. How do I get a refund for this?

@JessSmith97 Hi Jess, This service has been cancelled due to Storm Floris. Your ticket dated Monday 4th Aug 2025, will be valid for travel on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th on Lumo services only. ^Abi

@brodyh2002 @goronology @MCRLive25 We went east gate, we sat for a bit before gates opened having a drink and still managed to get in the very front block :) we were in pretty quickly

@MCRLive25 we have front standing tickets for oasis tomorrow but coming down on big green coach. Our tickets say either south or east gate entrance but on the map it doesn’t look like there’s access to it from there?

@nationalrailenq Will there be ticket acceptance for other train companies? My original ticket stated I had to get a cross country train from Doncaster to Newcastle but due to the delays will I just be able to get the next available train to Newcastle? Or does it have to be cross country ?

@JessSmith97 Ah I see, that bus will take you to Doncaster from where you can travel onwards to Newcastle as planned. Apologies for the cancellations today.

@nationalrailenq currently on the 10:44 train from habrough, was meant to be going to Doncaster to then get a connecting train to Newcastle. Now being told my trains cancelled at Scunthorpe, how will I make the rest of the journey??

@nationalrailenq We’ve just been told that train isn’t running, a rail replacement bus has turned up now and told to get on that and wait

@JessSmith97 Thank you, I can advise catching the next TransPennine Express train from Scunthorpe to Doncaster at 12:08. Then another train to Newcastle from there.

@nationalrailenq It was the 10:44 train from habrough to Newcastle. Currently sat at Scunthorpe station waiting as the train terminated here, don’t really have a clear answer if there’s going to be replacement coaches or we have to wait for another train
