CrowdStrike is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts. Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted. This is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified, isolated and a fix has been deployed. We refer customers to the support portal for the latest updates and will continue to provide complete and continuous updates on our website. We further recommend organizations ensure they’re communicating with CrowdStrike representatives through official channels. Attn UP Followers: @MSPEighthDist is asking you to avoid their post, and all others today. They say a suspect (photos in tweet thread) lit multiple cruisers on fire and shot at them. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Multiple patrol vehicles at the Sault Ste. Marie Post were lit on fire and struck by rifle rounds at approximately 3:30am. The suspect is still at large and is described as a white male wearing camouflage. He was last seen driving a silver Honda CRV.
