@Jessdot_EXE COBRA fucking sucks (and is mandated by law they’re not doing you a favor at all). when i switched jobs and was without health insurance during my new job’s probationary period it was cheaper for me to just get a plan through the ACA market

My ex-employer is offering COBRA to maintain my health insurance for $1,100 a month. Yes, I LOVE having the opportunity to choose between paying for my health or not being homeless

They going out of business or merging? Health Insurance… no market place or Pennie or Obama Care options with a subsidy? Last year one of my employers didn’t shop the market and didn’t find a broker. They told is us market place and everyone gets a subsidy from us but the difference comes from your paycheck.

Jobs really don’t give a fuck about you. After 4 years of tenure, my job is going to leave me without health insurance in 10 days, and they’re not paying out any of my residual PTO

In case anyone didn’t already know this, but HR is only there to protect the company. They’re not there for you!! Don’t trust them, EVER.
