Most businesses don’t need just any software. They need a way to turn how they actually work into software That’s what @emergentlabs is becoming: the operating system for businesses Today we’re announcing our $130M Series C at a $1.5B valuation to put that future in their hands

I went from 0 → 1,000 followers in 30 days Here’s what is working best (for me) 1. Stories (How I went from A to B) 2. Socializing with others (sharing real life experiences with other accounts, reposting and adding my thoughts, etc) 3. Continually including social proof in every post (“I built an 8 fig company”) Goal: 1K → 10K by end of year. Honestly? I think it’s going to be easy.

I realized I was not a CEO at 21 years old I had scaled my agency to $3M/year after dropping out of college Signed the biggest brands on earth and thought I was "killing it" I slowly realized getting to $10M/ year was a different skill set I lacked the systems, hiring and management knowledge to get us there. I needed to bring in experienced operators that had exited before and sell them to vision Today we have a full C suite who are double my age. CRO, COO, CEO, CCM The growth came from bringing in A players and getting out of there way. Too many founders would have let their ego get in the way of success. This was the best decision I have ever made.

Two years ago, I sent this text to my frat that made me a millionaire. I was 21, sitting in my apartment at Syracuse, staring at my phone for an hour before I could hit send. It went to my fraternity group chat. The guys I had lived with, partied with, and called my best friends for three years. I told them I was taking a leave of absence to build a street interview business. I was moving to either New York or Miami, and I did not even know which one yet. I just knew I was leaving by morning. I sent one more message after that. "Come to 611 tonight." That was our house. Everyone showed up to say goodbye. I left the next morning, and I never came back. Some of the guys in that chat thought I had lost my mind. A few told me to come back and finish school. Most of them had no idea what street interviews even meant. I still have that group chat. The same guys who told me to come back now send me every article and podcast I am featured in. They hype every win louder than anyone on my team does. The screenshot of that text is still in my phone. I read it when things get hard because it reminds me what it cost to start. Everything I have built came from being willing to send one terrifying message and then actually follow through on it.
