Almost 1M views Her school told her she couldn’t read her pro-life poem cuz it’s offensive and political. Now millions more will hear it and its powerful message Please share! 👇

MUST WATCH: We asked the 13-year-old student who was barred from presenting her pro-life poem because it’s “offensive”, to read her poem so we can share it with the world. PURE FIRE🔥 This is the poem @JeffcoSchoolsCo doesn’t want you to see. Would be a shame if it went viral!

Never thought I'd see "Republican" legislators in the South Carolina Senate defending race-based gerrymandering - but here we are. Two of my opponents wasted whatever was left of their political capital today to embarrass themselves at the statehouse. We need a Governor who the statehouse will fear and listen to. You know I'd whip every single "NO" vote into shape if I was Governor.

@fjc0000 @AletheiaEp73094 @MetamateDaz Corporations serve their financial stakeholders. The services they provide should be designed to serve a need presented by the population. If it doesn’t the financial stakeholders lose.

Free Universal Healthcare is so complicated and expensive that only 32 of the 33 wealthiest countries in the world have figured it out.

I missed this. What is the solution for the US? I feel like I’m just arguing at this point. I work with too many phds with god complexes to believe what they say without question. I want the government out of healthcare. It sounds to me as if you are in favor of more government control … as if the government is able to legislate human morality.

@JesseHipwell @MetamateDaz I am not an expert in drug pricing that it is a complex subject I heard someone that set prices for NHS in UK say that the manufacture cost was 3% … Compare the bargain power of a single individual that really needs a drug to a state that can purchase zillions of doses …

Not following. Are you implying I have less compassion and PERSONAL (not a forced collective) willingness to help my fellow human than a scientist with experience at the Mayo clinic? American healthcare is corrupted by crooked politicians and the lobbyists they serve. Price for same care is more in the US but … I can usually see specialists in a timely manner. Your chart showed healthcare dollars spent vs life expectancy. Surely someone with scientific background wouldn’t take such a chart at face value. They’d be interested in whats behind the data that made that chart. If the same drug is priced at 1000 in the US and 1 anywhere else … and life expectancy in both locations were the same, I could make a chart that shows healthcare costs are 1000x more at the same life expectancy. Why does the same drug cost more in the US? Crooked politicians, creating legal loopholes that allow thieves to exploit the system. Privatize healthcare. Create competition. Competition drives innovation. Bureaucracy, with all its moral promises, kills it.

@JesseHipwell @MetamateDaz The point is always perspective Individual vs population For a rich individual USA is great ( I spend time at Mayo Clinic …) but the overall results for the population are show in the chart It comes down with the respect (empathy ?) for your fellow citizens

Gotcha. Numbers don’t lie. Only those presenting the numbers. Scientist? Great, you found the data that you wanted to highlight to argue your point. If you are really a scientist, tell me why healthcare is priced so much higher in the US. This isn’t a cost discussion. It’s a price one.

@fjc0000 @MetamateDaz As do I. I’m surprised you trust so heavily on a chart flashed on a source like wikipedia knowing that data can be spun to support a number of narratives.

@fjc0000 @MetamateDaz I take news from and perspective from all sources. I even force myself to take in some of the MS networks (MSNow, etc) on a daily basis. I remain objective. Do you?

@fjc0000 @MetamateDaz And in my opinion, preservation of the American dream, that I was raised to love, is more important than free healthcare for everyone that can afford the cost to cross our borders. Defense spending is a must. I’m afraid we will continue to disagree

@JesseHipwell @MetamateDaz I don’t have in-depth knowledge of the American system but from the distance the system has severe distortions based on the mythological idea that markets solve all the problem The pricing of drugs is very complex and the absence of a national system drives prices up

Great chart. Why are pharmaceuticals priced so much higher for insurance holding individuals in the US than ANY indivdual represented in that pretty chart? Why are medical procedures for those insured in the US higher in price than the under insured. Why do I have to pay for medical expenses but those that enter the country illegally do not?
