@tlschwerz Win probability added for relief pitchers does not really illustrate skill as much as other stats. Especially closers. In close games, whichever pitcher pitches the 9th with the lead will get a boost. There’s only three outs left.

@Govindtwtt The calling card of fast food was that it was a cheaper alternative. If a better burger, or even a much healthier alternative, is now only a dollar more instead of 3 or 4, it’s a much easier call for people to spend their money on better food.

McDonald’s says customers are “pulling back.” Same with Wendy’s. Same with Burger King. When fast food loses traffic, it’s a stress signal. People are tapped out.

@J_D_Cameron Thank you. It makes me distrust Baseball America and I was someone who read their magazine monthly growing up. Their Top 10 Prospects issues got me through the off-season.

IMO updating T100 prospects monthly is content production gimmick/churn Generally, 25 MiLB games isn’t enough of a sample for a meaningful correction to a prospect evaluation. Beginning, middle, and end of season is just fine.

Royce Lewis looks like HIM again. This is 2023 Royce - easy bat speed, balanced, confident. More importantly, the swing just looks comfortable again. And if that’s back, everything else follows. He is expected to return to the #MNTwins on Tuesday. #MLB

Ty France signed an MiLB deal with the Padres for $1.35M this offseason. He's batting .283/.321/.528 coming off Gold Glove defense. Josh Bell is making $7 million to hit .218/.300/.331 while being unplayable defensively.
