@Emmy_Glaze Absolutely-it's been a difficult year for all, but we might see unions decrease even further in the years to come.

@PhongVo34017863 @PaJaLee4 I feel the same way. I think that it provides for freedom for employees to set up their work in a way. They can stand up for their wages and benefits if they so choose.

@PaJaLee4 After reading that website, do you think unions are really good for employees? I think union members can get many benefits from unions including pay standards, workplace protection and unjust dismissal through collective bargaining agreements. #HRunion #MGMT352Ch15 #SCSUMGMT352

@BaileySpauldi16 This is a valid point-members want to be listened to and respected, and a union is a great way for them to do so.

This article really stood out to me with everything going on in the world right now! It provided some really useful information & some very valid points about the issues that have come with police unions. It’s time for change! #BLM #MGMT352Ch15 #HRunion google.com/amp/s/www.bost…

#mgmt352ch15 #HRunion unionplus.org/page/what-union Unions provide an opportunity to share your opinions on your benefits, wages, and chances for growth at work. Although the number of members has been decreasing, there is still ample opportunity to reap the benefits of unions.

@lynnseyh98 This is so disappointing to hear and it's hard to believe this is happening. It needs to be put to a stop.

@PaJaLee4 @behl_09 Interesting to hear! I've never thought about it like that before, but that is a great point.

Would you prefer to be paid based off wage, salary or commission? Personally, I would be fine with wage or commission. I would not like salary because they can overwork you for no more pay. #HRpay #MGMT352CH12 #SCSU

@PaJaLee4 Equal wages for equal work is imperative and I'm glad they passed that ruling to make sure wage discrimination can be put to rest as much as possible in that arena.

@NecoleV5 I wonder how many employees aren't being paid fairly for their work today?

#mgmt352ch12 #HRpay shrm.org/resourcesandto… It's important to know what the pay ranges are for your job and make sure you receive a fair wage for your work. The first step is researching and learning what a fair rate is for your position.

@radtke_liz That's so cool that they give you feedback on such a regular basis. That's a very rare quality in a company.

@CartyPaytin @huskymgmt It certainly does, and it's a very important decision to make sure that appropriate methods and measures are being used/taken to ensure proper transfer of knowledge.

The human resource department at a company plays a really big role in the training and development of the employees. Choosing the right methods and making sure the method you choose is well thought out is super important! @huskymgmt #HRdevelopment #MGMT352Ch7

@stacylacee @huskymgmt Exactly! Continuous is a great word to describe the type of training that is needed. It has to be constant because policies change, and employees must be kept informed.
