@JessicaStibbens *defenders. Go read John 20 and John 21 and compare it to what he mistaught in the last video. Go read Acts 7-9 and compare it to what he distorts in this one. He’s a professional communicator with AI at his fingertips and extensive scripts to read from. These are not accidents.

I know people love to come here to defend their favorite internet pastor. If you lived here in Rockwall, you’d see the deep chasm Josh Howerton has dug between believers after pulling a massive bait-and-switch on us. This is one of his sermons from 2021. Contrast it with him now.

@amandafromtx That’s kind of a red flag to me that you used to be friends with him. Not to mention you haven’t been specific about what sections he “skips.” You’re being quite vague about what exactly your problem is.

@JessicaStibbens He skips around, at best. And skips major sections. I used to be one of his biggest defends on X, my husband and I used to be friends with him, and I was a member for 13+ years and sat under his teachings for years. Don’t bother trying that with me, thanks!

I was so sharp and so ready for this fight I cannot believe what has happened. The talk of me being off while walking in to the fight is nonsense. I was calm, ready, and confident. I am in shock what has taken place. The devil is literally staring at me right in front of my face here. I am not engaging. I will be at church tomorrow. I will overcome this. I will not be deterred. I will return.

@kevin_smith45 Right after Charlie’s death, a lot of people were confused, myself included. I didn’t know what to believe and I’ll be honest and say she had me questioning things. A few months later, I could see it. Nothing she was saying added up and I unfollowed her.

@realMaalouf “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” 2 Thessalonians 2:11 This delusion is sent by God as a judgment on those who "refused to love the truth.” It’s the natural consequences of choosing unrighteousness over truth.

With some people (and pastors) objecting, I want to explain really quick why this week's LIVE FREE episode (and social media) is unashamedly about the United States. I love my King of Kings more infinitely than any earthly ruler. And there is an Eternal Kingdom that has infinitely more allegiance from me than any earthly country. But... In the Bible, God established 3 institutions for the good of the world: – The Family – The church – The State (governments) This means that a Christian man should seek to be... - A family man - A churchman - A statesman This week, we'll celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and part of being a "statesman" is loving your country. - A family never gets better unless the father LOVES his family. - A church never gets better unless people LOVE their church - A nation cannot get better unless people LOVE their nation So, I do unapologetically love my country, thank God for the historically unique way Christianity played a role in the founding of our nation, and I'll have a BLAST this week unapologetically and enthusiastically celebrating it and working for its future good... not IN SPITE of the fact that I'm a Christian, but BECAUSE I'm a Christian, who is grateful to God for what He has done in the past and imploring Him to pour out his Spirit in our culture for the good of its future... and then I'm going to walk in this weekend and preach verse by verse through Exodus 3 and make Jesus real famous. "But seek the welfare of the [nation] where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare." – Jeremiah 29:7

Josh is absolutely right here. These passages all reflected immigrants who were among Israel as those who submitted to the laws of Israel. When Israel allowed foreigners to sway God’s people away from the worship of the one true God, there was always a disaster that occurred in the land. Immigrants who seek to be incorporated into the country and to submit to its laws are to be welcomed. Those who seek to fundamentally change the country and perpetuate the spread of the worship of false gods ought not be welcomed. It’s to the death of the American culture to welcome the spread of Islam and communism.
Josh Howerton@howertonjosh

Christian pastors are going to have to think deeper than “welcome the stranger” and “love the immigrant among you” for their thoughts on immigration policy in the coming years with huge swaths of Islamic socialists actively seeking to gain political power and fundamentally reshape significant parts of America.

I am a member of the Church of Mormon. I believe in the Trinity, reject Joseph Smith as a prophet, and oppose the notion that Jesus and Satan are brothers. But since my church has Mormon in the name, I am a Mormon, and I demand that the world recognize me as such.

Having children has made me a lot more pro-choice. Taking care of children is hard. Part of the payoff is imagining them living full lives as adults. I don’t know how anyone could find the motivation to take care of them if they knew that wasn’t possible. That’s why only religious people don’t abort in these situations.

This week, my wife and I made the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy due to Trisomy 21. The choice was not made lightly. We really appreciate all of the personal stories that you guys shared with us, especially the unconditional support we received from fans with no matter what we decided. I know some of you may be very disappointed to hear this news. We are devastated. This has been extremely traumatic for both of us, especially Ashley. She underwent the procedure earlier this week and is on the mend. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, but emotionally we are drained. Trisomy 21, also known as Down Syndrome, is caused by an extra chromosome. It is caused by an error in cell division, like a glitch. The odds of a baby having it is 1 in 1000. When I first confronted this news, I was shocked but optimistic. If they’re a little slow intellectually, then we’ll make it work. I signed on to be a parent, come what may…but I just didn’t fully understand what Down Syndrome entailed. Once we made it public, it became clear that MOST people don’t know what Down Syndrome entails (and no, it’s not the same as Autism): 50% of babies with DS have heart defects. 75% will have hearing challenges. Over 50% will have vision problems. Impaired immune function, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, delayed physical development, poor muscle tone, structural issues with face, decreased lifespan, etc…Sadly, the list is long, feel free to look it up…Down Syndome isn’t a “blessing”, it is objectively shitty from a health perspective. I didn’t realize just how rough it is for the child, let alone the family…more often than not, they would be fully dependent on others for the rest of their life. The miscarriage risk is also close to 50%, which made matters worse…they may never see the light of day and it puts Ashley further at risk. We spoke with doctors, friends, family and genetic counselors and learned that up to 90% of women terminate their pregnancy after learning the baby has Trisomy 21. This was WAY higher than I expected, I thought it would be lower given that I hear so many say they kept or would keep the baby. I believe that’s because most terminations happen privately, it feels shameful. A lot of judgment being cast. You never think you’d be in this type of situation until it happens to you and then things change. To all of my fans who have weighed in on this topic who have Autism, Down Syndrome or any other conditions…we appreciate you. You matter a lot and we’re glad you’re here. I commend you and your families for having the strength and courage to push forward. As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family. Thankfully, we had a choice. It will take a little time to move on, but we are excited to try again in the future and hopefully have a better outcome. Love you guys & thank you for understanding. ❤️

My favorite kind of abortion is the kind that's safe, legal, accessible, and none of your damn business to regulate. And no amount of fearmongering by describing what goes on to a half-ounce fetus with no consciousness, self-awareness, or feeling of pain is going to change that.
Brandon Gill@realBrandonGill

Which abortion is your favorite? The one where the unborn baby's body is crush and sucked out with a hose or the one where the baby is cut apart with a knife? Please enlighten us.

I’ve got your back, @MrsErikaKirk. I didn’t get along with your husband all the time because I didn’t like his gatekeeping or his lack of judgement when it came to platforming people who are now trying to mock his death and smear you with lies (and I warned him about these people), but the way you have been treated is terrible, and I will happily have your back and defend you from the female Jim Jones.

When I was a kid, my mom got a a lot of flack for the way she homeschooled us. She almost unschooled us. She made us do math, but not much. We learned a lot of history because she talked about it constantly. But almost nothing was formal. The people who ragged on her were usually school-at-home types. Some of them even had a “school room,” complete with desks and chalkboards. We spent our time with a *profound* amount of boredom. We read encyclopedias for fun. @BowtiedWTRbear read every book in our library, which was vast. My younger brother tore apart computers. I played piano and bass guitar and day dreamed. We didn’t do nearly enough chores and an equal amount of “school work.” By all measures, we should have been abysmal failures. But I’m a nurse and my brothers are engineers and my sister works in accounting, all of us with impressive resumes in our fields. All of us are married with children and happy. Actually, all of us are very much practicing Christians and very conservative politically. We all have three or more kids. The ones who ragged on my mom have less stellar records. I think about the differences a lot. Our family was/is FAR from perfect. We’ve had some family drama and nothing comes easy, it seems. The difference, I think, is that my mom didn’t focus on academics. Her entire goal for us was to grow up to love Jesus. That’s it. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” “And I I chose the path less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”
