The Jewish Rohingya Justice Network is a coalition of faith leaders inspired by Jewish values. We know we cannot ignore the atrocities continuing to unfold against the Rohingya people.

This Sunday marks seven years since the Burmese military launched a wave of vicious attacks against the Rohingya people, forcing more than 700,000 people to flee to neighboring Bangladesh. The campaign of violence and persecution amounts to genocide.

It's been nearly seven years since the Burmese military unleashed atrocities that forced 700,000 Rohingya people to flee for their lives. It is past time for the world to act.

Today marks the third anniversary of Burma's military coup. We mourn the lives and human rights lost since, and commend the activists working to restore democracy. We stand with the Rohingya people and everyone in Burma suffering under military rule. #3YearsSinceTheCoup

Today marks one year since the U.S. rightfully recognized the atrocities committed by the Burmese military against the Rohingyas as genocide. Now, two years after the coup in Burma, we must continue to condemn the Burmese military for its horrific crimes and attacks on democracy.

I’ll never forget the stories I heard from Rohingya refugees back in 2017. While the U.S. recognized the Burmese military’s genocide, accountability is still missing. On this anniversary of the U.S. genocide determination, I vow to continue working towards an end to the violence.
