We've seen the launch of another fantastic project with @jfjfoundation & True Research Ltd. It aims to distribute bleed & first aid kits across South London with the necessary accompanying education, to save lives through immediate first aid responses to serious youth violence.

Violent crime is a big issue in London – so we heard from Tilisha, who lost her brother Jermaine Goupall to knife violence, for more on its impact in the capital. Follow the debate live: bbc.in/3UJi58l #BBCLondon

Had it not been for the @LDN_VRU @LibPeck and @SadiqKhan we Would not be able to support organisations in Croydon such as @JfjFoundation today @Arsenal honoured Tilisha Goupall. The LDN_VRU have supported this organisation who have contributed to diverting 1000s from Knife crime

Sadly a 16 year old boy was stabbed today in Croydon. Thankfully he is alive but this is a reminder, that despite no murders there are still stabbings and agencies need to continue to work together to bring about change in our community. @LDN_VRU @MPSAndyBrittain @JfjFoundation

The ‘Inspiring futures programme’ reached over 60 children yesterday as the young people go through a journey understanding the impact of knife crime. Croydon is a special place with great organisations doing what they can to bring change @P4YE_ @MPSAndyBrittain @JfjFoundation

The strength of the room is that uncomfortable truths are spoken. Equal to energies that criticise statutory partners, my community must work to hold ourselves accountable for poor parenting and for passing the responsibilty of raising of our young to teachers. We must do better.

Over 75 people got together to meet and discuss gang activity in Croydon. @MPSAndyBrittain @NeilGarratt @DonnaMurrayTur1 @MPSImran_Asghar @AndyStranack @JfjFoundation @LDN_VRU @LibPeck @MOPACLdn @metpoliceuk got together in a room with Headteachers and the community- incredible

I had the privileged to be apart of the Inspiring Futures programme by @P4YE_ with the @JfjFoundation and the @metpoliceuk delivering a programme to over 60 children in a secondary school in West Croydon. The is pioneering and groundbreaking as the children discus a murder case

Yr 5&6 took part in a knife crime workshop with @jfjfoundation The wonderful representatives spoke about knife crime awareness & how to stay safe. The workshop was ‘not to scare, it’s to make us aware’. #safety #againstknifecrime
