@AirCanada @cibc booked with AC May 11. Paid with Visa. Funds sent and AC app timed out. No confirmation No email. Money gone. Called AC. No record of payment. No reservations. It’s a bank problem they said. $3902. gone. Nothing to show. This is May 16, 2026. Still nothing.

I hope our booked trips to LGA in June and DEN and back to YEG in August go without a hitch. But I am sure we will get the same great service as we have seen thus far. @cibc @AirCanada

@AirCanada @cibc my husband leaves on Tuesday to fly to Toulouse via AC using CIBC card. These funds have not been released. It’s expensive enough to travel but thanks to your two fine institutions you have placed additional hardship on us.

@AirCanada we asked AC on Monday to hold our seats. Not a problem! Could hold for 48 hours but couldn’t guarantee prices. At nearly $4000. those prices weren’t great to begin with to fly to YEG from YYT. @cibc you have done nothing for us. AC you owe us big time. Call CIBC.

@AirCanada @cibc up multiple times during the night checking. Nothing. Meanwhile the other flights we booked with AC same day posted 24 hours ago. We were forced to rebook our “lost flights” to be in Edmonton for birth of our first grandchild. Those tickets weren’t free.

@cibc We wait patiently checking account multiple times a day. May 15 is here. No return of funds. Call bank. It can take up to 5 days to post. Nothing they can do until @AirCanada posts. No expedition. It will drop by midnight we are told. Guess what? It’s May 16. Nothing !

Call @AirCanada. We have no record of payment. You are not on manifest. Call your bank. So we wait patiently. Over 48 hours. Nothing. Call @cibc. It can take up to 72 hours. Nothing they can do until it’s posted. It will drop off if they don’t have it.

Called @cibc yes money is gone. AC has it. You need to call them back. We can do nothing until they post it. If they don’t have any reservations it will drop off within 48 hours. “Can you expedite?” Nothing they can do until it’s posted. No dispute! Nothing! @AirCanada
