Just got home from a week long work trip and had a perfect opportunity to ask my wife what she’d think if she saw pictures like this and I explained they were completely innocent and taken out of context, her exact quote

#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel and Athletic reporter Dianna Russini were seen holding hands and hugging while at a luxury hotel pool in pictures obtained by the New York Post. Vrabel and Russini and both married. “Both Russini and Vrabel insist they were there with friends and say they simply weren’t visible in the pictures. A source close to Russini says she was staying at the hotel during a hiking trip with two female pals. One of Vrabel’s friends told Page Six that they and the coach drove up to Sedona for the day with another pal and that they all drove back to their own hotel, some two hours away, after hanging out with Russini and her gang.” Eyewitnesses say that Vrabel’s buddies were nowhere to bee seen, however.

The trade that Joe Spallina teased last night isn’t for the No. 1 pick, it’s for veteran goalie Dillon Ward.
Great move with a lot of upside for the @PLLRedwoods. Goalie was the one clear position where they could upgrade, and they add Ward to compete with Ierlan for the job.

This is a good idea for every sport except hockey.
Will have a big impact there as most kids play juniors before going to college. This will eat in to eligibility.

The NCAA D1 Cabinet will vote next week on 5 years of eligibility for all athletes. Per @RossDellenger the 5-year would give athletes five full years of eligibility from the time of their 19th birthday or their high school graduation, whichever is earliest.

Big story brewing in the NCAA, could have huge implications for the CHL.
I think NCAA rule change has been net benefit to CHL, but this could hurt that. Currently CHLers can stay in CHL til they're 20 and have a full NCAA run after, but under these rules, that'd be limited.

Tuition, room, and board paid by student-athletes.
For instance, the Men's Lacrosse team likely has around 25+ guys like that.

Playoff teams are firing head coaches with less than 5 games left. There’s no reason that you can’t add someone to change the system right now
