Edwards admitting he’s given up on some players: “Some of them (players) have got to go. “We’re bottom of the league, it’s been embarrassing. “They've got to go. Have I not been clear with that?” Not sure why it took him 24 games to work that out with Tchatchoua 🤷 #wwfc

@ahshudupayaface Well done. My father in law had to wait 6 hours just for the ambulance and then another 2 and half hours to be seen. This government is all spin.

Just took my daughter to A&E for a suspected broken finger. 5.30pm arrival. Triage, assessment, treatment in 1hr 5 mins. I want to put that out there to counter all the negative stories. #lovetheNHS

@Wolves_OD Perhaps. I personally am not convinced by Doyle. If he was good enough he’d be playing in the premiership. We should be aiming for better but given our recent transfer track record and the lack of funds he might be our only option.

@JimBrindley The reason why Doyle is out on loan is because that Portuguese fraud didn’t want him not because he’s bad. Vitor’s talent id stinks

🚨Breaking News Labour wheel out Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, Darren Jones this morning to defend Keir Starmer and throw the Foreign Office under the bus over the Peter Mandelson debacle. Is it incompetence or outright lies and corruption?

BREAKING: Downing Street says that neither Keir Starmer nor David Lammy knew that Peter Mandelson failed his security vetting - and lays blame with Foreign Office official for overruling the decision.

@Peston If we are 2 to 3 weeks away from shortages it’s natural people are going to panic. These ministers are clowns.

As I just said on ITV’s News at Ten, ministerial and industry sources say the UK is two or three weeks away from shortages of diesel and jet fuel, though petrol suppliers are healthier. This means Starmer’s new Middle East Response Committee will soon face difficult decisions on how to make sure supplies get to critical users, how to ration more generally and how to price. But, as I mentioned, ministers say supplies and stocks of petrol remain decent, so no need to queue at pumps

@daveazzopardi @WolvesFirst I agree. He’s not a terrible manager. Clubs ambition is the main point. If they want us to be a mid championship team with a core of mid championship players he’s your man. If they put their money where their mouth is, and invest in top players they must bring in a better coach.

Everyone has their opinion of Rob Edwards, you have every right to want him in/out. But the massive swing in opinion/aggressive approach towards him when we lose (not just today) is puzzling.

@Jenny_1884 I’m 53 and I lived and remembered from 1981 and trust me the youth of today have got it far worse than what you and me had to go through at a similar age. We at least could have a mortgage 3 x our salary.

When I married in 1981 we both worked & most of our salary went on paying the mortgage as the interest rate was 15% at the time. Everything we owned was 2nd hand & we never went out for meals as we couldn’t afford to. We rented our TV Went to the launderette every weekend as had no washing machine. Only had new clothes at Xmas & birthdays as presents. We went without until we could save enough to pay for something. It’s always been hard whether you are young or old. So those out there that think we had it easy we didn’t. Our governments are to blame, not the old.

Amazed that this Labour Minister on BBC Breakfast could keep a straight face when he was pushing how positive a 'price finder' app is in helping ease the cost of fuel. Absolutely deluded the lot of them.

At today's @G7 talks with @bankofengland Andrew Bailey and @Ed_Miliband, I reiterated the need for a swift resolution in the Middle East. This is not our war and we won't be drawn into it, but its economic impacts are global - we must work with partners to strengthen resilience.

Farage stormed out of PMQs sulking after being called out by the PM for: 📈Reform’s 9% council tax rise after promising cuts ❌Flip-flopping on a foreign war nobody wants 👎Their party built on division, not solutions Can’t handle scrutiny? Leave the room. Tata for now, Nige👋

And then Nigel Farage walks out of PMQs with his Reform MPs. Last to leave green benches is Robert Jenrick, who dismisses the chamber with a wave of his hand.
