@htmx_org It was wild. A database and ui all in one. Had a command prompt like python where you could run commands to modify ui or database on the fly. And table files...compatible with dbase. 🔥

@JenSiebelNewsom How would you feel if I interviewed your husband and accused him of being a coke snorting philandering embezzler (all true by the way)? Would you defend me, a female? Or your shitheel husband?

My family and I watched the 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump and Norah O’Donnell last night, and we were shocked. Seeing a president speak to a woman journalist with that level of contempt — and a clear allergy to facts — is disturbing, though at this point not unexpected given his pattern of behavior. But that is the problem. Because when that level of disrespect from the highest office in the country repeats itself, it starts to trickle down into our culture and define what power looks like, shaping how boys and plenty of men see women and girls and what they come to accept as normal behavior.

Removing TPS status for Haitians living in the United States would cost 350,000 workers their ability to work at a time when we’re already facing serious workforce shortages. I’ve heard from healthcare providers and business leaders across Nebraska, including @OmahaChamber, who are concerned about the impact this would have on patient care and our economy. I don’t see the goodness of deporting people who are here legally, working, and contributing to our country.

@joke_zombie @JoeyMannarino Sure..sure.. Civil wars are bad. We went through one. But maybe, hear me out, it involves a religion that you can rape and murder the unbelievers, but if can't do that, you can tax them, but if can't do that, lying and stealing from them is perfectly fine.

If Somalis are such brilliant, successful business entrepreneurs, why the hell is their own country Somalia still one of the world’s biggest failed shitholes after 30+ years? I’m just curious..

@davepl1968 "you are compelled to participate in the self-esteem of a third party to prove your own worth." That is so good. Really great description.

Even if you don't agree with them, ALL people deserve to be treated with dignity, equality, and respect. Tangentially, that doesn't mean you have to hold their VIEWS with the same regard that they do. And for the record, I'm supportive of almost anything that's important enough to you to merit a trip to the DMV to update your profile. It's when you are forced to venerate the views for the sake of others that it becomes woke - when it's no longer enough to live and let live, but you are compelled to participate in the self-esteem of a third party to prove your own worth. To do rises to the level of activism. And to be sure, some causes are worthy of activism, but that's up to the individual to decide.

Regardless of your religious beliefs, LGBTQ+ folks deserve to be treated with dignity, equality, and respect. Refusing to do so doesn’t diminish them. It diminishes you.

It was just like an Iowa-Nebraska football game. The Hawkeyes let the Huskers think they had a chance, knowing that they'd commit some hilarious bonehead error in the last 3 minutes and fall apart afterwards. This is known as good sportsmanship
Stephen Glansberg@RenobHawk

At 6:16 left in the game, Pryce Sandfort made a 3 to take the lead against Iowa. The TBS broadcast showed Matt Rhule in the crowd. After said basket, Nebraska went on a 5 minute and 9 second scoring drought and got outscored 15-6 for the rest of the game.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
