POLL: I want to hear from my constituents on the Uber/Lyft issue! Should House Republicans let Uber/Lyft leave the metro area on May 1, or should we bail them out?

@mnhousegop @dawn_gillman @JimJoyMN It’s incredible, the stupidity or the corruption in elected officials in the legislature. They’re sworn to uphold the law and look after the interest of the people they represent. But they don’t. All they do is steal money.

Democrats are calling our proposal to let families write off child care costs a “giveaway.” They are completely out of touch with how unaffordable Minnesota has become.

We have 3 plans ready NOW to lower costs for Minnesota families. Will Democrats vote yes — or keep costs high? Vote happening LIVE.

Rep. @JimJoyMN on cutting tab fees after Democrats raised taxes by $10 BILLION and spent an $18 BILLION surplus: "Where is the money going to come from? We took it from the taxpayers. We're giving it back to them."

HOLY CR*P 🚨 Minnesota Rep Krista Knudsen says they just found out the state TURNED OFF tracking for money being sent overseas They turned it on for 2 weeks. Saw all the money leaving, and Democrats quickly SHUT OFF TRACKING to allow it to keep happening READ THAT AGAIN “Today in the fraud committee, the Department of Human Services testified that they haven't been tracking the IP addresses of money that's being literally flown out of our state and where it's going. They did turn on that reporting for 2 weeks, and they found that yes, a lot of those IP addresses were tied to overseas computers, and then they quickly shut it off after just 2 weeks of seeing where this money is actually going” “Every time we turn around, it's just more and more fraud scandals in our state”

The truth is that there is ZERO reason for Democrats to deny the widely bipartisan independent fraud investigator bill. @JimJoyMN: “They’re not serious about this.”

Representative Kraft (D-St. Louis Park) just tried to run cover for Rep. Norris (D-Blaine). Instead of denying it, Norris doubled down. Kraft: "Did you ever claim that Senator Gustafson was involved in drafting the Delete Everything amendment?" Norris: "I certainly did have conversations with Senator Gustafson about this amendment... conversations, meetings... you know, lots of different conversations along the way. Did I sit down and get my pencil out with her and draft up the specific language with her? No. But there were a lot of meetings and a lot of conversations along the way."
MN House GOP Rapid Response@MNHRCWarRoom

NEW: Representative Nash (R-Waconia) just called out Rep. Norris (D-Blaine) for falsely claiming he worked with the Senate DFL on his watered-down version of the OIG bill. "Last week you said that the DE was something that you worked on in conjunction with the Senate author. Then we heard later in the day on the Floor that it was worked on with the Senate author and the Governor's Office." "The Senator actually put out a press release and said that was not accurate. I found that remarkable." Nash also presented a document to the committee showing that the Governor's Office does NOT support the OIG bill internally, despite Walz publicly stating that he does. "In a document we got from a data request with the Governor's Office... it says that the Governor's Office wishes to find a different approach than Senator Gustafson's bill."

Let’s analyze this scenario: ⁉️IF Federal agents leave...or "pause" as some suggest...what stops the immigration floodgates from opening even more…!?!! ICE is in every other state…Sooo if you're an illegal immigrant and you want to get away from being arrested, you're coming here…right….!?!! ⁉️Do you think we have problems in Minnesota now…Wait to see what happens if you’re naive enough to do the "pause"!

Thanks to all who joined today’s “Stop the Mandates” rally! Minnesotans are speaking up against Gov. Walz’s tax hikes. It’s time to demand efficient, accountable leadership that puts people first. Let’s stand up for our counties and our future.

🚨 BREAKING: Minnesota Democrats just BLOCKED Rep. @HarryNiska (R) from advancing HF20—a bill that would’ve increased transparency in the Attorney General’s Office. This comes right after AG Keith Ellison was caught colluding with Feeding Our Future fraudsters.

As we face a looming $6 billion deficit, it's alarming to see full-time government staff increasing while schools are forced to cut teachers due to unfunded mandates. Our kids should be the priority-not bigger government. Schools, counties, and cities will be taxed harder to cover reckless spending, and we need to take a hard look at what's happening. Blowing through an $18 billion surplus, raising taxes by $10 billion, and growing government by 40%—this isn't sustainable. It's time to put students, teachers, and communities first! #FiscalResponsibility #PutKidsFirst
