After 2,650 miles and 11 years, finished the Pacific Crest Trail Wednesday. One small step for humankind, one giant leap for Old Farts.

Fired up my nearly 30-year-old Apple PowerBook 180 yesterday and it loaded up macGIS v2.02 and Aldus Freehand 3.1 without a hitch! Fun to show these ancient mapping tools to the next generation of cartographers. Felt like a museum demo.
