Nintendo are their own worst enemy. Because their first party software is such high quality it sabotages third parties, that is why third parties are never going to prioritise a Nintendo console over PS. Even if Switch 2 was 3x as powerful as a PS5 they would still prioritize PlayStation because of consumer behavior. (there is some exception with japanese devs) Think of it like this, if a Switch 2 owner has to decide between a Nintendo Title or Third Party Title, 9 times out of 10 they will pick the Nintendo title. Game development is all about choices and what to prioritize, Switch 2 is always going to be further down the priority list because it's not going to generate anywhere close to the same amount of revenue for third parties as PlayStation or PC. Expect more of this to happen with third party titles unfortunately.

IO Interactive announced the Switch 2 version of 007 First Light has been delayed to later this summer. It won't be launching at the same time as the other versions. They said that they want to bring the best gameplay experience across all platforms.

It’s amazing really that 80000 people - of which I have been one - have come and watched quite such a dull spectacle.

"Trump, the Mar-a-Lago golfer, is the only bull in the world who walks around with his own china shop. When a clown takes over the Palace, he doesn't become King. It's the Palace that becomes a circus" French senator Claude Malhuret once again nails it. You won't hear a better indictment of Trump and his Gulf war than this. Well worth 5 minutes of your time My English s/t 👇

People are chalking this up to American greed, but our infrastructure simply doesn't support it. As nice as free trains would be, I'd be livid as an NJ Transit commuter if we subsidized the WC when we can't even get functioning service most days.
Adam Crafton@AdamCrafton_

One significant factor here is FIFA already sacrificed one of its prior principles when it allowed US cities to not free public transport to tournament games (was free in Qatar and Russia, plus Germany for Euros) but *nobody* imagined financial ask would become this big.

I still can’t believe Parliament has legalised abortion up to the moment of birth. We live in a country where it is illegal to hunt a fox - or indeed to sell a drinking straw made of plastic - but lawful to kill a human baby. We have lost our way.
Dominic Penna@DominicPenna

Nine Labour MPs are among 79 who have written to Shabana Mahmood and Wes Streeting to protest the decriminalisation of abortion up to the point of birth The cross-party letter argues proceeding without an impact assessment would be “reckless”

MUFC set to make formal complaint today to PGMOL after failure to award a second penalty in last night’s game. When Amad wrestled to ground with no attempt to play the ball. Club officials furious at another costly VAR blunder as I’ve said on TOTD.

AFCB 2 MUFC 2. Cracking game for a neutral. Of which few of you are. Thought it was a pen on Amad before Bournemouth went up the other end and got a pen.

World Book Day. Perhaps people should read more books and spend less time on screens. I got this today from the father of Jack, 9, from Derry. He’s read one of my books and did a review for school. Made my day.

Shaw flank redemption? Luke Shaw superb at left-back for #MUFC. Again. 30-year-old last played for England in the Euro 2024 final. Since then #ENG left-backs: O’Reilly (most recent), MLS, Spence, Livramento, James, Hall, Lewis, Trent and Colwill. What odds an England recall?

You should have to retake your driving test every 10 years. Would cut bad driving habits and keep people up to date with Highway Code changes. The demand for tests would create more jobs. The inevitable number of failures would force investment in better public transport.
