We just released Turntable in Illustrator for everyone 🎉 You can rotate 2D vector art in 3D. Place all frames on canvas. Great for animations and game design. No Redrawing, just drag the slider and done!

@CrimsonDesert_ Why apologize? Just own it. Say you used AI, so what. Procedural workflows are similar anyway, they automate creation instead of placing everything manually. As long as the game is fun to play, it's up to devs on how they develop it. Cancel blahblah is bs and stupid.

We would like to address questions regarding the use of AI in Crimson Desert. During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. These assets helped us rapidly explore tone and atmosphere in the earlier phases of production. However, our intention has always been for any such assets to be replaced, following final work and review by our art and development teams, with work that aligned with our quality standards and creative direction. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We also acknowledge that we should have clearly disclosed our use of AI. While these tools were primarily used during early production, with the expectation that these assets would be replaced prior to release, we recognize that this does not excuse the lack of transparency. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of all in-game assets and are taking steps to replace any affected content. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches. In parallel, we are reviewing and strengthening our internal processes to ensure greater transparency and consistency in how we communicate with players moving forward.

@wowclassicdevs I have literally gotten the 100% exact opposite feedback from everyone, if any feedback at all. Maybe Dreamscythe is different, but Nightslayer right now feels like the best server health experience I've had since Private Servers in 2018.

Burning Crusade Population Density Adjustments Incoming Over the last couple of days, we’ve seen a lot of feedback from players that in many cases, there are too many others nearby when you’re questing or doing gathering professions in the open world. Today, we’ve developed some configuration changes that should hopefully reduce the congestion while retaining the feeling that the world is still well-populated. Those changes will go live during our currently scheduled realm restarts. We’ll continue to keep a close eye on this going forward, and we’ll adjust things further if necessary. Thank you!

@elonmusk People, stop complaining about X and S going away. Tesla couldn't sell those cars. They are too expensive and sales are down. Tesla is doing good to change their business model to what they decided to focus on now. It is a business at the end and a software company must move on.

Personal news alert: I’m starting my own company! After almost five years at Star Atlas, I’m taking a leap of faith and pursuing something I have always wanted to do in my life, but only now feel confident and equipped to do it. These past few years have taught me everything I know about business. Working every day next to @at_mwagner and the Star Atlas team has been the best experience of my life. Not only that, but I also had the blessing to make friends literally all around the globe. Everywhere I travel, there’s always someone from the Star Atlas community willing to meet or be a local guide. I couldn’t be more grateful for all of this, for all the memories in the Star Atlas Discord, every Brew, and every game night. I feel now is the time to apply what I’ve learnt at Star Atlas and create value for more people and projects. I am moving to Dubai to start something with my lifelong friend @_osten, a dream we both had since we were two kids playing videogames at his grandmother’s place, and that is materializing now in this way. This doesn’t mean I’ll fully leave Star Atlas, I’ll be transitioning into an advisor role and plan to continue to be involved in the community and team, just from a different position now. There’s nothing like Star Atlas being created in the world, and I have full trust that Michael and team are the most capable people to build this vision, coupled with the help of the best community in the world.
