COMPLETE GUIDE TO @virtuals_io GENESIS ------------------ INTRODUCTION ------------------ I have been posting about Virtuals and their Genesis platform for a while now, but I still get a lot of confused looks and questions about what to do and where to begin. I figured an all-encompassing guide would be a good way to introduce people to the Virtuals Genesis Flywheel. -------------------- HOW TO PARTAKE -------------------- Virtuals Genesis is a launchpad for AI Agents on the Virtuals platform. In order to participate in a launch, you need two things: 1. $VIRTUALS 2. Virgen Points $VIRTUALS is very easy to acquire - you can just buy it on Uniswap on Base chain: app.uniswap.org/swap?chain=bas… -------------------------------- HOW TO GET VIRGEN POINTS -------------------------------- The hard part here is Virgen Points. Virgen Points can be acquired by heaps of different methods, but the five most notable and "easiest" methods are the following:" 1. Buy and stake Virtuals Agents on the Virtuals website There are many eligible agents you can choose. My recommendation is buying LOW MARKETCAP AGENTS. By staking agents you get what is called a Diamond Hand Bonus every 24 hours - and apparently it's weighted by the NUMBER OF TOKENS you hold and not the dollar value! Incomplete list of eligible tokens below, full list can be found under your profile on Virtuals website. 2. Stake $VIRTUALS Locking up $VIRTUALS gives you veVirtuals, relative to how long you locked the tokens up. If you lock them up for 2 years, you get a 1 to 1 ratio of $VIRTUALS to veVirtuals. Currently it is more efficient to stake low marketcap agents as 1 veVirtual gives you roughly 3 points a day. Bonus - staking Virtual gives you AIRDROPS of the successfull launches. Stake these, do not sell them. This enhances your daily points. If you sell, you get put on airdrop-cooldown. 3. Yap about $VIRTUALS and the Virtual Agent tokens I get between 3,000 and 6,000 points a day from simply talking about Virtuals and the ecosystem - all you have to do is link your X account to Virtuals, and have an active account on @KaitoAI with the same X account linked. This is how I initially got started as it requires zero investments to get points! 4. Stake 5000 $KAITO Staking 5000 $KAITO grants you roughly 3,000 points a day. This is quite expensive ($10,000) but staking $KAITO has a million benefits besides the Virgen points - they are just an extra for me. Definitely do this if you are a whale, if you are less wealthy skip this step. 5. Participate in launches After you get points, the flywheel starts to take effect. Stake the allocation you get after participating in a launch, and you will get more and more and more points the more launches you play in! Most importantly, do NOT instantly sell your allocation, as this will put you in Jeet Jail. 6. Stake $VADER $VADER from @VaderResearch is the first successfull launch on Virtuals ever. This means they are very closely in contact with the team, and had one of the best runs on Virtuals I have ever seen. They got special treatment as well by Virtuals team so you can stake $VADER since 5% of all daily points go to their stakers! ----------- JEET JAIL ----------- Jeet jail is a scary place. I have been there once, and I do not wish to go back. If you ever sell tokens that you got from participating in a launch, you will get placed on a 10-day cooldown where you will get less points if you sold a little, or zero points if you sold all of your allocation. Prevent this at all costs. If you do decide it's time to take profit, then do it ALL AT ONCE. This way you do not trigger the 10 day cooldown multiple times across multiple tokens. ---------------------------------- PARTICIPATING IN LAUNCHES ---------------------------------- Now that you've got your $VIRTUALS ready, accumulated $VIRGEN points and know what happens if you sell your allocation, it is time to participate in launches. First rule of thumb - only invest in tokens with a LOCKED SUPPLY for the devs. This means you can not get rugged for the duration of the lock! Second rule of thumb - do a little research. There's a lot of vaporware trying to slip through the cracks! On this picture you see an example of two launches. Once a token hits 100% subscription, the launch happens guaranteed. If a token does not hit 100%, no fear, your points and $VIRTUALS are refunded. Launch number 1 is $NAINCY - a hyped launch that is expected to go to 5-10m. However it is very oversubscribed, so you will get a much smaller piece of the pie and your points will all be spent. Pros: 1. Higher chance of hitting a high multiple as it's a hyped launch (30-50x launch) 2. Very low cost in $VIRTUALS, as you need to commit a very small amount due to heavy competition on points. Cons: 1. Only get to spend a low number of $VIRTUALS so even a high multiple might not be the best return on investment unless you have a truckload of points The opposite of this is $CAP - a very low-key launch with a low subscription percentage. Pros: 1. You will get a VERY large allocation for your points, since there is not much competition 2. Huge allocation does not only mean big profits, but also big Diamond Hand points if you stake them! Cons: 1. Token might do poor on price since the launch is not as hyped. 2. Need a lot of $VIRTUALS to commit to your points. Personally I like to go for the lower subscribed launches, while if you have a smaller bankroll I highly recommend going for the hyped launches with a higher multiple. -------------- BONUS TIPS -------------- 1. Wait until the last few minutes until comitting if possible. This way you know exactly how much oversubscribed it's going to be! 2. Follow @Degen__Ape__ and buy $TRUST - staking 100k of $TRUST gets you access to the best Virtuals Alpha group there is, including access to the best Virtuals tools for claiming, selling, sniping CA's! 3. Follow @icobeast - he is the one that got me into the Virtuals ecosystem not once, but twice. Great alpha also outside of Virtuals as a bonus! ------------ END NOTE ------------ First of all, thanks for reading, this turned out to be quite an essay.
