@Jimbohdtu @WhatDidIWitness @Primewave96 I thought it was obvious but the car payment that someone makes or doesn’t make isn’t the direct paycheck to someone working a job. Therefore it has no direct correlation to the money used to feed their family. Hope that clarifies.

@WhatDidIWitness @Primewave96 Before that happens they take the car back and sell it again. My ex worked at a dealership in the finance department. This was her literal job. Can confirm that people missed payments everyday and nobody ever starved because of it.

@libsoftiktok @Aetna I have numbness in both arms and 3 fingers I can't use right now due to degenerative disc disease in my neck. Aetna has denied a disc replacement and my surgeon has been trying to appeal it. Apparently, people are supposed to just go on and live this way.

Last week I randomly got a $9,000 bill for a hospital visit from last year. I called them up and they said my insurance decided not to cover it. Why? Because.
.@Aetna can just decide they’re not interested in covering something and then you’re left with an inflated bill to pay out of pocket after the fact.
This is in addition to a $2,000 bill that I already paid. They just don’t want to cover it despite me paying a monthly premium.
Meanwhile illegals get free healthcare.

I genuinely don’t understand how some person who works for an insurance company can have the ability to decline treatment or deem “not medically necessary” when it is prescribed or ordered by a licensed medical professional.
