Last week I randomly got a $9,000 bill for a hospital visit from last year. I called them up and they said my insurance decided not to cover it. Why? Because.
.@Aetna can just decide they’re not interested in covering something and then you’re left with an inflated bill to pay out of pocket after the fact.
This is in addition to a $2,000 bill that I already paid. They just don’t want to cover it despite me paying a monthly premium.
Meanwhile illegals get free healthcare.
Honestly fuck you @Aetna. I’m gonna do everything I can to destroy you.

It's been 7 months since we had our baby and we're still receiving unexplained hospital bills in the mail. Hardly ever an adequate description of services. Just a QR code to pay online. It feels intentionally confusing and difficult to get answers. We want price transparency.

In 1947, Ruth Hensinger walked down the aisle in a unique gown crafted from nylon. The fabric actually originated from the parachute that saved her husband, Major Claude Hensinger, during WWIl. In 1944, his B-29 caught fire over Japan, forcing him to bail out.
He kept the parachute that ensured his survival and later proposed with it. Ruth worked with a local seamstress to transform the utilitarian material into an elegant wedding garment.
This creative reuse of military gear turned a tool of war into a stunning dress.
The dress is currently preserved in the National Museum of History, (part of the Smithsonian Institution)

UPDATE: It looks like Paige Ostroushko has deactivated her Instagram account and is trying to scrub everything about herself off of the internet after her actions yesterday.
She and her father's entire social media accounts were called "MN ANGRY FATHER" and "MN ANGRY DAUGHTER".
The father, Chris Ostroushko, has blocked me on Instagram and it seems they are trying to do damage control after the entire family's violent actions yesterday.
