@spencernoon @Yung_Spielburg Working in an industry sector is a good start. Knowing the true pain points from the creator perspective is critical. Music is a cultural driver where rights and ownership need to factored into all the environments it exists.

@Jimi_Frew @Yung_Spielburg I used to work in the entertainment biz actually…I know enough to be dangerous. One major assumption I have is that the vast majority of successful NFT musicians will be crypto native and start their careers dropping music NFTs, as opposed to existing artists crossing over.

Hot take 🌶️ Artist streaming royalties = rent seeking behavior It makes no sense for artists to make $ every time a song is played when streams are just radio advertisements for their personal brands The future is: ✅ Free content ✅ Maximize distribution ✅ Monetize via web3

@spencernoon What about the people who create the music who are not the the brand? Writers? Producers? This is where this line of thinking falls apart when mapped onto music imho. Would to hear your thoughts though on how to address it.
