@LAPDHQ The law for jaywalking may have been repealed but there is still a clause; If the pedestrian crosses in an UNMARKED Crosswalk in a manner to create a danger or risk of injury or collision the pedestrian can be cited for a violation. Learn the law you moronic jackasses!! The LAPD is SCAMMING YOU!!! “In California, pedestrians can cross outside of a marked crosswalk if it is safe to do so, as per the Freedom to Walk Act. However, police can still issue citations for unsafe crossings that endanger traffic. This means that while jaywalking is no longer automatically illegal, it remains illegal if it creates an immediate danger of collision.”

NEW: The LAPD is setting up drivers by having someone walk across the street in an "unmarked crosswalk" so they can then give tickets to people who don't stop. "Recently, LAPD Van Nuys division conducted a Pedestrian Enforcement Taskforce," they shared online. The LAPD says the trap was made to "promote education" after they've "had a string of accidents that have resulted in fatal or severe injuries related to pedestrians."

Chipotle announced they were having a buy one get one free deal between 3p-4p for a day. People started lining p around 2:00 to participate in the promotion. At about 2:40pm the manager at the Bronx chipotle shut down the store and did not open again until 4p. The manager then told the people who have been waiting in line for 2 hours that the promotion was over and they were not doing the buy one get one deal. What’s messed up is they knew they weren’t going to participate yet they did not tell anyone nor did they have a sign saying they weren’t doing it either. Since the kids have been waiting there patiently, shouldn’t they honor it anyways?
