No easy answers. Homegrown players like Baty and Vientos don’t look like starters. They are old enough and have had enough chances.
Can’t keep pitching Senga and Peterson if they implode like this. Bring up Tong and Wenninger?

Here’s what Green said in media conference call yesterday with ESPN, where he works as an analyst: “Simply because the fact that the Knicks this year, especially late in the season, they looked very up-and-down. They looked like they were disconnected; the chemistry wasn't there. There are rumblings about some guys don't like Mike Brown or work with the coaches. There are rumblings that some guys are feeling they're not getting touches or there's over usage of Jalen Brunson. That seems to me like a team that could self-implode.”

I've given Stearns significant benefit of the doubt but, man, even missing Soto, it's hard to see how these Mets will suddenly morph into a good team. Red flags everywhere: offense, defense, and now the pitching as Senga is a mess. Nothing fluky about the 9-game losing streak.

Mets have an 8-game losing streak and can't score runs. Here are some ideas why:
1. Soto out (duh)
2. Lindor has neither his head nor his bat in the game
3. Lineup still doesn't hit lefties
4. Swinging early in counts and not making opposing pitcher work.
