Mocha is going in for exploratory surgery today. It's a hail mary attempt to save his life. He's got reduced Liver and Gallbladder functionality, a large mass on his Spleen, and two angry Lymph Nodes that we're hoping aren't also cancer. He's only three and previously survived Disseminated Ideopathic Myofascitis due to Chemo and a LOT of care. Put simply he's had it rough and the odds are against him here. During the surgery we're bringing in both Frog and Toad two of our largest ferrets as transfusion donors. Ferrets don't have blood types which makes this considerably less complicated but still difficult. This makes sure there is a ready fresh blood supply should it be needed. Rescue is hard as hell sometimes and nature doesn't care what is or isn't fair. We're going to do our best for him here and hope everything goes well.

Jones was last seen on the morning of March 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. near the 39600 block of NW Verboort Road. Jones is 5’ 05” tall and approximately 130 lbs. Jones was last seen with her black-and-red Pikachu backpack and possibly in a black jacket. Jones is not familiar with public transportation and does not have a phone.
