there are in fact good civic arguments for the electoral college but they hinge on the fact that the united states is a union of states so things like the president (and in its original conception the senate) should be decided by state which, yes, may have different populations.

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.

If we assume 100% of the Israeli civilians killed on 10/7 were killed by Hamas (which we know isn’t true), that gives 2.1:1, roughly in line with WW2 or Vietnam. The IDF has a ratio of atleast 4:1

This argument clearly begs the question. If we judge x is a building, a painting, or a creation, we judge x to be an object that resulted from intelligence. But the very question is whether the world is in fact a creation, something that had a creator. That can't be a premise.

It’s particularly of concern to the military because it’s common for them to have to wake up and immediately make life or death decisions.

For example block the car in with their cruisers or don’t get in the back of the car and focus on the driver side to keep any cops from being taken for a ride.

@JinStim @FightClub753 It’s better than letting the driver floor the car and kill you like you are supposed to do if you are getting robbed from the backseat as a driver. The car slows down when you aren’t pressing the gas. The car won’t slow down if the driver is throttling the gas. Hope this helps.
