@PenseesofPascal I have literally had this exact same thought before. Not only does it lead to a more effective domestic and foreign policy it also prevents concentration of power and tyranny.

Napoleon III is kind of why I think we should switch to a dual executive model. Leaders who excel at peace and infrastructure building often require a different skill set as the ones that excel in war/foreign policy.
