@JiokeOchulo @HauwaAllahbura Who told you the elections are not free and fair?
English

My Prediction for 2027 elections.
Tinubu would win the Presidency cleanly.
NDC would get a tangible number of votes.
kwankwaso would fail to get Obidients to support him for 2031. Ultimately failed strategy.
Atiku might be forced to support coalition as an elder statesman but he would do it last minute after making campaign funds.
Add yours.

@Abdulmalik80802 @HauwaAllahbura It's never bad to call black, white in Nigeria, and use it as our premise for next argument. When we accept falsehood as our reality, & it will continue to be. Nigeria is a paradox, we celebrate our lies and hope for the best. We are together in this quagmire
English

@JiokeOchulo @HauwaAllahbura So even if it is free and fair tinubu will still win
English

@HauwaAllahbura Will the votes count? Or will Inec write numbers for contestants . Will PO be defeated the way he was defeated in the last election .

@kepukepunews Which Kanu is the writer referring to. I don't know of any Kanu that has organic support in the East

They Won’t Touch You, Their People Will
By Emenike Vincent Onyembi (EVO)
In the political landscape of Nigeria’s South East, there is an unwritten rule that every serious office holder learns quickly. As far as South East is concerned, there are some leaders you must tread carefully with.
Not because these leaders will personally fight you if you offend them. Rather, it is the kind of support base they have built, an organic, almost unshakable following, that will fight you instead. And once that fight begins, it never ends well.
For any political figure operating in the South East, the wisest course is simple, do your best never to cross words with these three individuals. History has shown that such confrontations rarely end in your favor.
Consider Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State. Love him or disagree with him, you cannot deny his political intelligence. During the 2023 elections, Uzodinma never traded harsh words with Peter Obi. He was very careful in his choice of language and actions.
He played his role in the APC effectively, supporting his party and its presidential candidate, but he deliberately avoided any direct attack on Obi. That was not weakness.
It was wisdom. Governor Hope Uzodinma understood that Obi’s organic support base is a formidable force, and picking a fight with them would have been a costly distraction.
This brings us to a broader lesson for all political office holders in the region. Arrogance, pride, and what might be called a “dominance spirit” should be avoided at all costs.
The moment a leader begins to believe that he is untouchable, that he has arrived, that his position makes him superior to the people, he has already begun to lose.
In the South East, lasting political success does not come from shouting the loudest or acting the toughest. It comes from being smart and calculative, from knowing exactly which fights to choose and which fights to walk away from.
A perfect example of this new wave of organic support is Governor Alex C. Otti of Abia State. In a relatively short time, Otti has built a support base that would be extremely difficult to defeat.
It is not the kind of support bought with bags of rice or small cash handouts. It is organic, grown from visible results, from a sense of hope and competence. Like Kanu’s followers and Obi’s “Obidients”, Otti’s supporters are passionate, resilient, and deeply invested in his success.
Whether you accept or not, any politician who underestimates that does so at their own peril.
The South East is not a region where brute force or loud rhetoric wins the day. It is a place that rewards humility, calculation, and deep respect for grassroots loyalty.
If you are a political office holder here, let go of unnecessary pride and unnecessary arrogance.
Learn from Uzodinma’s restraint. Study the organic connection that figures like Obi, Kanu, and now Otti have built with their people.
Tread carefully, choose your battles wisely, and remember, sometimes the most powerful move is knowing when to say nothing at all.
Is the game over? Not at all. The main politicking just began. You will understand as it unfolds. And it is going to be very interesting.

@HarmlessHQ Next thing, Yemen is seaking for ceasefire agreement, Israel refused.....yen yrn yen
English

This is how countries go about causing problems for themselves.
Netayanhu has never looked the way of Yemen and only concentrated on Iran.
But today, Yemen started sending missiles towards Israel.
Of course, all the missiles were intercepted by the Israeli air defense system.
It is very easy to start a war but I hope Yemen is mentally prepared for the response from Netayanhu! 😏

English

That’s too bad. War will never be an answer.

#Throwback: In Dec 2015, the #ZariaMassacre, masterminded by #VileLittleMan, @elrufai, killed hundreds of Shiites & destroyed the worship places of the sect.
Among the dead were 3 sons of Sheikh El-Zakzaky, who was arrested & detained together with his wife.
After five yrs in detention, with Sheikh El-Zakzaky's sight failing & his life in danger, el-Rufai responded that he wld not consider bail for El-Zakzaky. You can read the story on the link 👇
Today, the #VileLittleMan is asking for the same compassion he cld not extend to his victims. I do not wish him oppression. The #RuleOfLaw shd be enough for all of us.

Insiders said during his questioning at the anti-graft agency, investigators made several attempts to obtain a written statement from the former governor, but he repeatedly declined to provide one.

@Millishield01 Joke and banter aside...
Will the result count?
English

@afrisagacity This not Alex Otti project. This is Ginger Onwusibe, member representing Isiala Ngwa Federal constituency project, not Abia State government.
