“This Senate should adopt a position that MTN, a South African company, that is taking away millions of dollars from Nigeria every day, that Nigeria should nationalize it and withdraw its license so that a Nigerian company can take over MTN's business.” - Sen. Adams Oshiomhole

@DiceOfTruth @Nosiike_ @Imranmuhdz You are a moron. A president that graduated 1st class in accounting in USA cannot be allowed to be a primary school teacher? Hate is a stupid thing.

@Nosiike_ @Imranmuhdz Yes. Like I said, we have no standards. No wonder we have the president we have, who wouldn't be allowed to be a primary school teacher anywhere in the world with sense.

The APC led government is actively building two major gas pipelines across the country, AKK and OB3 with the Nigeria - Morrocco gas pipeline also in the works. AKK to supply the North which had been cut off from gas distribution for since independence. The impact of AKK would be transformational for industries and power plants in the North. The APC government also built NLNG train 7. The Escravos gas pipeline phase 1 was built in 1989 and the phase 2 was built in 2018. Apart from the West African Gas pipeline built in 2008, no government has invested much in gas infrastructure, despite our abundant gas resources. 80% of our power generation comes from gas. PBAT at the NESG summit mentioned that our gas is useless in the ground if we can't push it out. From 1999 to 2015. Nigeria only managed to build one major gas pipeline. There is a reason why some of us won't stay here and argue with ignorant folks or content creators whose only talent was memorising states and capitals like a primary school boy.

CharlyBOY, sorry CharlyMan, oh sorry again, CharlyFRAUD is a shameless thief with no integrity or shame. He can only speak in a nation without morality. This shameless old thief betrayed our struggle and collected money from the Buhari regime while I was locked up in kano prison.

@Tunji_zerocool @woye1 @eakinola23 @Lord_Of_Warri Like the larger Yorùbás!? Worse than them! Our lawmakers will publicly endorse an outsider for political position.🤦 Then you will find out that the said outsider is either their loyalist, business partner or son in-law😹😬. Terrible!

@eakinola23 @Lord_Of_Warri @woye1 The number is not the problem. We outnumber them in the entire Warri. They have rather hijacked the system with the help of our foolish leaders. Imagine a lawmaker from Lagos endorsing another tribe for governorship or senate against his own people!? That's what we are facing!

@HauwaAllahbura Do we have institutions that will guarantee free and fair elections. Self deceit is the worst form of deceit. In a country where hypocrisy is celebrated and honesty is foolishness . We know Nigeria and Nigeria know us. Nonsense!!!!

My Prediction for 2027 elections. Tinubu would win the Presidency cleanly. NDC would get a tangible number of votes. kwankwaso would fail to get Obidients to support him for 2031. Ultimately failed strategy. Atiku might be forced to support coalition as an elder statesman but he would do it last minute after making campaign funds. Add yours.

Don't be surprised if by end of this week, Atiku Abubakar withdraws from the Presidential Race. Don't be surprised. He is considering it probably because of the calibre of the person who spoke to him yesterday. Let's see

Peter Obi, Kwankwaso Defection Unavoidable, Result of Strategic Porting - Ikechukwu There’s an Igbo adage that describes Peter Obi’s defection to the NDC: _Oso Ndu_, which simply means "running for life." But more relevant is another adage: "A woman who is running from a lion does not do catwalk." That is where Peter Obi has found himself. Peter Obi has moved to a platform no one anticipated, one that holds the prospect of giving us genuine elections in 2027. Prof. Okey Ikechukwu, Executive Director, Development Specs Academy

This is not about Dickson Check the Timing, it’s about PO knowing who he is dealing with and creating a backup Plan The week the senate accepted the party was the samew week PO promised us he will be in the ballot paper. PO has tried to register a party and it was denied. He used someone they didn’t see coming…

Senator Seriake Dickson has learned a lot about Nigerian politics. He quietly registered his political party NDC, collected the certificate, and kept it safely. He made himself the national leader of the party. He appointed one of his domestic staff as national chairman, who must get approval from him before doing anything in the party’s name. He also made his house the party’s national headquarters. Anyone who wants to join the party must go to his house. All discussions are recorded and stored in a hard drive. He then brings out a small bag, gives the person a membership card, escorts them to the gate, and tells them to go and build party structures. This way, no one can take the party from him. That is also how Omoyele Sowore has protected his party AAC for about six years now.

@ann_omatf @HAHayatu You’re advising an adult who’s on a mission to use religious and ethnic rhetorics as political campaign tactics. These are the nonsense we hear and see from APC and Atiku’s databoys. The reason it’s dangerous supporting their candidates. Thank goodness that there’s Obi/Kwankwaso.

Years back when the FG signed the minimum wage act, states would sign a lower wage bracket. Now we have a situation where States are matching the FG and some paying more than the FG minimum wage. They are not owing and they aren't borrowing to pay wages. They are even reducing their debt profile. In the year 2000, the dual structure of minimum wage was introduced in the Minimum Wage Act. Obj couldn't convince governors to pay N7,500. Uniformity was achieved in 2011 but some states still refused to pay the N18,000 citing their fiscal inadequacies. As of 2015, they were completely broke and the FG continued to bail states out through the CBN. Between 2015 - 2017, states had received N1.75trn in bailout funds. The cycle continued till 2023. It's a new era of stronger subnational government - states and LG. You have to be intellectually blind not to see it.
