A little Friday afternoon sneak peek at our brand new wip Form Builder UI 😍 This will very likely be adapted for the main Blueprint builder too.

@KatieKeithBarn2 I've just been telling Claude to use WP-CLI, but it's local. Are you doing something to use REST-API on a real server? Care to share the basic steps? Not sure I follow.

Thanks to all of you who told me you're using AI to edit your WordPress sites without needing an MCP. I've now set up Claude Code with the WordPress REST API and an Application Password, and I'm amazed at how efficiently I can update large amounts of content. This is going to MASSIVELY increase my efficiency 🚀 Today I used AI to seamlessly update 50+ blog posts and knowledge base articles that referred to Iconic's products, which would previously have taken me or a team member days to do manually. Now I'm teaching it to create screenshots and it's doing an excellent job!
Katie Keith@KatieKeithBarn2

Are you successfully using AI to directly update the content of your WordPress site? I haven't figured this out yet as the official MCP is so technical and the others look bloated, so I'd love to know what you're using.

🚀 SEO Pro 7.7 shipped this week with two highly requested features – Redirects and Error Management. Rename slugs and redirects are created for you. Manage 301 and 302 errors in a dedicated area. Full wildcard support. 404s get logged so you can fix them easily, in order of importance.

@vinnysgreen @schutzsmith I'm here too. Been loving messing with Laravel/Statamic cause we can build whatever content model makes sense and wire up only what we need a site manager to have access too. So powerful with so much freedom.

@schutzsmith I'm only convinced that 80% of the features enabled and visible by default are overkill. I think you always need a CMS just not all the baggage and features

I fuckin hate when you contact support via chat and you explain things to a prompt/AI agent/etc, then the person comes in, and they start off like "yo how can I help" You can help by reading everything I already wrote above motherfucker come on now

@laracasts @jeffrey_way I think you have an opportunity to adjust your business model to offer a series like this along with some skills or an MCP or something to offer to our coding agents to make sure they do it the right way. Unless Boost already does this 🤔?

Today, we're launching a new Laracasts series that will show you the essentials building an AI agent from scratch. We start with a basic chat response and gradually introduce new concepts, such as the agent loop, custom tools, and more. 😀 "So You Want To Build An Agent"

@coreyhainesco I'm back to this. I need a bash script or some way to get these formatted or easily loadable in Cowork. Feeling like it's a big missed opportunity for all the non-technical marketers that would benefit from these skills.

@coreyhainesco Yeah that's what I did for him but they fail cause missing some header attribute or whatever it's called. It's very manual to update too. I'll see about what other options I can figure out for him to not blow things up.

@coreyhainesco Is there a flow to get these into Claude Cowork/Chat? My non-techie marketing friend would absolutely love these but Claude Code is a 💩-storm waiting to happen if he gets in to terminal.

@gigitux @briancoords How many moving parts we need to combine different offerings... memberships, subscriptions, bundled products, combined product discounts, dynamic pricing, etc.

@JiveDig I've tried the symlink approach too it's a good workaround but we need all the harnesses to all look in the same place.

Can we agree a standard on what folder skills go in. I see too many repos with .Claude and .github and .opencode all with duplicate skills in. Can't we just have .agents folder?!

@lgladdy @MadtownLems @wp_acf Okay this was solved. Phil (from WPE?) helped me figure it out in Post Status Slack. Turns out that instance of my block was not returning any HTML (by design). That is the new and expected UI for blocks not showing any HTML in ACF, which is fine by me now that I understand.

@MadtownLems @JiveDig @wp_acf Fairly sure this isn't supposed to happen, and we're supposed to ignore saved modes if you upgrade to v3 to stop you getting into this state. It's a UK holiday today, but i'll dig into this tomorrow and get back to you.

@wp_acf @lgladdy I'm testing v3 blocks and have old block instances in content that were saved in 'edit' instead of 'preview' mode and now I"m stuck here. How do I get out of this?

2yo wanted a song about an excavator. I looked for one on YouTube music without expecting much. Turns out someone posted a whole AI album in Polish about all sorts of construction machines. It sounds better than 95% of children's music out there. I am in awe (and so is he)

@SamokhinAleks @LocalWP I tried this both ways, launching LocalWP first, then Herd, and vice-a-versa. It sometimes works for a few minutes but then ultimately/eventually I get a Herd 404 site missing screen on the Local sites.

I actually have a WordPress plugin that communicates with the Laravel backend API, and both are running at the same time. I didn't do anything tricky, although my WP is sometimes responding very slowly. I tried asking Claude, and it said that my Nginx sometimes conflicts. I'm just launching it in the right order now, first Local then Herd.

@manaflowai cmux has been fun, but 2 things. 1) Can I make the terminal/CC instance aware of the browser? Like, can it SEE it? 2) Why do my sessions keep saying "Needs input" when they don't? I love the meta, but it doesn't seem to show the correct status.

@austinywang @manaflowai Oh i think i see what's happening. Installing from skills.sh it put them in ~/.agents/skills/ but didn't create the symlinks in ~/.claude/skills/. I haven't had this happen with other skills from there. Weird.

@austinywang @manaflowai @manaflowai The cmux browser is so helpful... when I can get Claude to actually use it. It's a multi-step process forcing it to use cmux --help to discover it. Can you update the skills to have `name: cmux-browser` so we can just invoke directly via /cmux-browser?

@danieldessinger I haven't looked at it, but could this be partially handled via dedicated software that basically locks you into the app (out of everything else) to help focus?

There is no tech device I want more than a Freewrite minimalist typing device. The ads I stare are for the $550 foldable Traveler. There's also no way I can justify spending $550 on a device that only does 1 thing my computer already does . . . and is already paid for.
