A little birdie tells me that CM sahib called on the Home Minister recently. And the photo that emerged out of the meeting was CM sahib like an overexcited marathoner grinning from ear to ear, handing over a bouquet, ostensibly congratulating the BJP for the recent electoral meeting. In the meeting CM sahib apparently complained about the time taken for clearing the Reservation file. And apparently yet again CM sahib was informed that the file has been despatched 3 weeks back. Nobody it seems told CM sahib. And yet again, yet again apparently the Centre has queried as to how the sub Committe came to the conclusions that have been forwarded. Very humbly may I state. I had asked the same question in assembly and asserted that there is no evidence of research. The recommendations sent should have been a research backed document based on scientific evidence. Anyways. God bless those who voted them to power 🤔

PRESS RELEASE *“Drama, Deception & Contradictions”: Sajad Lone slams NC-PDP's doublespeak* _Flags “Deep Governance Crisis” Amid Corruption, Transfer & Policy Concerns_ *Srinagar, May 14:* Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Gani Lone on Thursday accused the National Conference (NC) and PDP of “misleading the people of Kashmir” through what he described as contradictory politics and selective narratives. Speaking with the media, Lone said that in today’s digital era, political double standards can no longer remain hidden. He accused that NC and PDP leaders make one statement in Srinagar and entirely different statements in districts like Kupwara, Baramulla and Budgam. Referring to the ongoing anti-drug crackdown and demolition drives against alleged drug peddlers, Lone pointed out that while the central leadership of NC and PDP publicly condemn such actions in Srinagar, their MLAs were seen applauding the Lieutenant Governor’s remarks in other districts. He questioned how party leaders could oppose actions publicly while their representatives support them elsewhere, calling it “a mockery of the people.” Lone also criticized the recent debate surrounding liquor bans in Jammu and Kashmir, accusing both NC and PDP of “political drama” and “electoral deception.” He said neither party imposed a ban while in power despite repeatedly raising the issue during elections. According to him, the controversy is merely a diversion from larger political questions, including the Rajya Sabha elections. On corruption allegations and transfer-related bribery claims raised by Mehbooba Mufti, Lone alleged that corruption in transfers has reached unprecedented levels. He sarcastically remarked that “transfers” should be included in the government’s industrial policy because of the scale of money allegedly involved. Addressing the NEET examination controversy, Lone termed the centralized examination system “unfair to students” and expressed support for restoring localized competitive systems. He criticized the lack of accountability in the current setup and said students were suffering due to repeated controversies surrounding the examination process. Throughout the interview, Lone repeatedly accused mainstream parties of “lying to the people” and called on the media to raise tougher questions instead of allowing political narratives to go unchallenged. @JKPCOfficial

I have a a humble request for @OmarAbdullah sahib. We had submitted our proposed plan to the R and B department, under C and T sector. I was perusing the list released by the department. They have tinkered with the list, deleted some roads sent by us and added some roads which have not been proposed by me. We welcome additional roads but not at the cost of the proposal sent by an elected representative. Why are you allowing this? Don’t humiliate and belittle an elected representative. Now don’t sit back and smile sadistically. What you do to us is what Delhi will do to you. You bend your back backwards and display disdainful servitude in Delhi and here you want to trivialise the institution of an MLA. If you are man enough and want to showcase your valorous traits showcase that in Delhi not in allocation of roads in Handwara. And to those officers who bypass law, this is not the end but the start. That is my promise.
