🚨BREAKING: Seattle Washington, a man gets tased by police after attacking people with a guitar by the Space Needle. Footage shows him approaching officers while disobeying orders then he hits the ground upon getting tased. Police move in and subdue him making the arrest.

@ForTheGood Did you read the disclaimer heading? Raised the fees across the board, but all of the money is no longer staying within the WDFW to fund hunting & fishing… WA State is now taking a portion of the revenue to dump the “General Fund” This Stinks.

This is the time of year I usually renew my fishing license. This year it is $104.83. I love to fish but I hate that the Democrats are making it inaccessible for many Washingtonians. I have to mull this over for a bit. Hunting costs are even worse.

@WatchDogWa @pnwmom91 @TJMartinell1 Don’t forget the state is also robbing WDFW funds. 😡 Increased fees; yet now when we purchase licenses a portion of the money is being dumped into the State General Fund, instead of being solely applied to hunting,fishing,& recreation.

Yeah. I don't get this either. For me the surcharge is 500.00 where I'm at in NE. WA. For my daughter, in N. ID...an hour away..it's 1500.00. Yes. I understand that high demand increases prices but that's always connected to limited supply. We're not large population either. Limited supply......really?? What do you mean? I'm hearing Starlinks are sent all across world......and yet the PNW States in America, especially rural areas that need it desperately are getting the shaft? @elonmusk @Starlink

It is not painting things in a negative light, but an accurate one. When you say things had returned to normal - that would be 130+ ships/day - is not accurate. I watch the traffic everyday and post nearly daily updates on it on my YouTube channel, What's Going on With Shipping. We are, at most, perhaps 10% what we were before Feb 28, on select days. However, we have lost an entire month of shipping. @TankerTrackers estimates that a total of 108 tankers have sailed since Feb 28 (that is about 3 days worth). Of these 78 are sanctioned vessels including Iranian owned or operated ships. The problem is we are nowhere near returning back to normal.

WAR: So the risk premium has fallen from 5% to 2.5% and now at 1% (still high) for shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. I posted earlier that traffic had resumed to normal as a result but got ravaged by Community Notes. Traffic has resumed as a result BUT it is not normal. I find it fascinating that everyone is desperate to paint everything in as negative light as possible. Today, I signed the operating budget for Washington state. My team and I worked in close partnership with legislators to craft a budget that allows us to continue meeting Washingtonians' core needs, while also living within the state's means, despite the harm done by the Trump Administration and MAGA Congress.  We secured important wins for affordability — including assistance on health care premiums to low-income individuals and funds to help low-income residents pay utility bills. I also recently signed the Millionaires' Tax to rebalance our upside-down tax code, which goes into effect in 2029.  We mitigated harms from the Trump Administration — including providing food benefits for the 30,000 immigrants with lawful status denied SNAP benefits, backfilling Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood, and funding healthcare for very ill or disabled Washingtonians who were kicked off Medicaid.  Our state agencies took $1 billion in reductions.  I'm grateful for our state employees who are doing more with less.  Thank you to members of the public who engaged in the process, my budget team, sponsors Sen. Hey WA, HB 1974 will allow the county to seize your property and the county will be required to sell it to the city for housing projects if you are 3 years delinquent on your property taxes. They just removed the cap on property taxes...🤔 It's pretty clear the plan is to get rid of all single family homes in Washington.

The SAVE America Act is a disaster for democracy and I'm not going let it get passed into law. Are we seriously going to ask rural seniors to buy a $165 passport and drive miles and miles to register to vote in person?

@AndrewKolvet The ‘SAVE’ act is utterly unnecessary. Virtually all US states require an ID to register to vote. Tlaib is right: Trump wants to federalize elections to make it harder for Americans to vote. Which is, in fact, suppressing the vote.

We have a shrill Hamas lover on the House floor claiming that the SAVE America Act is "voter suppression" because getting proper ID and proving citizenship takes time and money. "Republicans don't want people like us voting." She's actually right! If you don't care enough about your civic duty to get an ID and prove you're a citizen, I don't want you deciding the future of country.
