Streeting's cunningly thrown a spanner in Burnham's works in Makerfield. The card he's playing is also the exact same one Starmer used in 2018-19 to endear himself to Remain-leaning members who thought an election could be won on reversing Brexit. Catastrophic then - worse now.

I am a great fan of Peter but I fear this is naive.
The article certainly demonstrates that Starmer's replacement will need to sound much tougher on Israel to get elected.
But they are all nailed on zionists and will immediately betray all that, once in power.
