Fate is not content with alternatives - Imam Hussein (as)

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump's team is shopping for Iran's next leader and they just named their favorite Politico reports the White House is quietly evaluating Iran's Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf as a potential post-war partner. One official called him "a hot option." The administration is explicitly modeling this on Venezuela, where they installed a cooperative leader who gave Washington favorable oil terms in exchange for staying in power. The most revealing quote came from an official describing the selection process: "As people rise, we'll do a quick test, and if they're radical, we'll take them out." Yep... that's an American official casually describing assassination as a job interview elimination round. Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince, is officially off the table. Instead they want someone already inside the system who can cut a deal. This confirms exactly what this war was always building toward. Not regime change. Regime adjustment. Keep the structure, swap the driver, secure the oil terms, and call it peace. Whether Ghalibaf, who publicly denies any talks and threatened to target U.S. Treasury bondholders last week, is actually willing to play ball is the literal trillion dollar question. IMPORTANT UPDATE: TRUMP IS BYPASSING THE IRGC Turns out Trump was saying the truth, but there's context The U.S is negotiating with Iran, this wasn't a bluff But Iran, as expected, is no longer one entity under one leadership The IRGC, more hardline and ideological, seem hell-bent on continuing this war, as they feel they have the upper hand. They rejected Trump's claim of ongoig negotiations, and now announced they will keep the Strait of Hormuz closed. In the meantime we are getting reports that a U.S. delegation is meeting an Iranian delegation in Pakistan, completely bypassing the IRGC This is a form of regime change, taking power away from the IRGC. This could go one of two ways: 1. After enough pressure and bombing, the IRGC fold and accept concessions, losing their grip on the country. This would be GREAT news for Iran and the world 2. The IRGC remain defiant, fighting for their survival, potentially militarily overthrowing the more moderate executive branch of the country This is an extremely important and sensitive period for Iran, Israel and the Middle East I hope Trump can pull it off

Trump simply backed down.

According to the Wall Street Journal, citing multiple U.S. officials, Iran has targeted the joint U.S.-UK base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean with two intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBM). According to the report, one missile failed in flight whilst the other was engaged by a U.S. destroyer utilizing an SM-3 interceptor, but a successful interception was not confirmed. None of the missiles hit the base. This is notable as Iranian long-range precision fires have not previously been publicly assessed as having the range to hit such a target as Diego Garcia, as the base is some 4,000 kilometers from Iran proper.

The threat of an intercontinental ballistic missile from Iran is real. We can’t allow Iran’s regime to use the flimsy cover of a “space program” to build a weapon that can hit us here at home.

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇬🇧 Iran just proved its missiles can reach far beyond the Middle East Iran fired two intermediate-range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-UK military base sitting 4,000 kilometers away in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Neither hit the base, but the message landed harder than any warhead could. Tehran has always publicly claimed its missile range tops out at 2,000 km. This strike attempt doubles that number overnight. The Khorramshahr-4 that likely carried out the attack can also deliver cluster warheads, the same munitions that have been devastating Israeli cities for three weeks. Look at the map. A 4,000 km range from Tehran draws a circle that reaches Paris, London, and most of Europe. Every NATO capital that thought this war was a distant Middle Eastern problem just realized Iranian missiles could theoretically reach their doorstep. Source: @sentdefender WSJ
