@bvince1993 Not same disappointment. They love this shit. They’ll accept Sweet 16 and top 3 recruiting every year with a smile on their faces.

Arkansas thought they were getting prime 2010’s Calipari when in reality they got washed up 2020’s Calipari that loses to Oakland/St. Peter’s and has a Sweet 16 ceiling. Different school, different 5 star talent, same disappointment.

The bad news. Arizona is a really good team. The good news. At least we aren’t Kentucky.

@JoeCartwright66 @josh72484 Kind of like Cedric Coward had no chance after his first year at Division III Williamette college? Or two guys that played their FR year at South Carolina drafted on the lottery the past 2 years. Or other mid-major guys drafted in the lottery?

Will Wade, who wants to leave NC State after a year, is allowed to do this. That’s just the reality, whether you agree or not. Also, a 19-year-old athlete, who wants to leave after a year and go to a place where they feel comfortable, can do it, too. Don’t tell me it’s different.

@KySportsRadio I’m sure you’ll give it the same energy you did when certain assistants left Cal’s staff

4 of Mark Pope’s Assistants have contracts that were expiring this year. I don’t expect Hart to be the only staff member that changes. It looks like Hart is going to similar job at SMU

So we cry about having no recruits then we cry about losing the coach whose primary job is recruiting. Make sense of that for me?

🔥TRENDING🔥 If another school wants to swipe Todd Golden away from Florida, they’d better be prepared to pay 😤 The #Gators would be owed $16M by any college that poaches Golden before April 16. And this is BEFORE Florida signs him to another extension— which is coming soon.

@JoeCartwright66 @keithtaylor21 Where did it say that's how he was recruiting? He said he adjusted his offensive scheme over the summer because of Lowe being left handed. At least listen or read before saying shit lol. Again, to try and benefit or play to your players strengths is not "DUMB AS FUCK".

Pope on how injuries affected the team's scheme: "J Lo is a left handed point guard, so we made a cautious decision last spring when we secured his services, that we were going to change the orientation of everything that we did on the court to serve a left handed point guard. You might say, why does that matter? With a bunch of things. One, it actually suits a right handed big extremely well in a lot of ways. And point guards and bigs work together a lot in a general pick and roll. If you have a point guard that comes off the ball screen to his left, you get to have a big man that's rolling to his right. It's way more effective than what you traditionally have, which is trying to serve a right handed point guard, rolling to his going to his right, and a left handed big trying to roll and finish with his left. So you get straight trying to finish a right handed, yeah, a right handed point guard, and then you have a right handed big trying to finish with his left. You get both guys working their strong hand. Really, really important. And we changed the orientation of everything we did on the offense. We got all the way to the blue, white scrimmage. We lose J Lo, but we said, hey, we're going to keep it this way, because we're going to get them back. And we did get them back. And then it was just this, you know, by the time we got to, you know, through St John's to January, find like, you know, this is going to be really he finally decided to have surgery. "

@mattchewslim @keithtaylor21 He said that he had to change his offensive approach because he lost a left-handed pg same guy that says he has to substitute guys at the under four because they’re tired. He takes good players out, put bad players in dude like you buy all of it

@mattchewslim @keithtaylor21 Yes. That’s what I’m saying. Literally no coach ever has said that. If that’s how you’re recruiting-worried about someone’s dominant hand- it’s no fucking wonder he’s 46-26. I repeat. ITS DUMB AS FUCK

@JoeCartwright66 @keithtaylor21 So you are saying that trying to run or setup your offense to take advantage of 2 players being able to use their strong hand more is the dumbest shit you have ever heard? Again, nowhere was it stated that these players couldnt fucking use their off hand lol.

@mattchewslim @keithtaylor21 Dumbest shit I’ve ever read. I reiterate… enter the ball to the left and you’ve got the same situation. If a high D1 kid can’t finish with their off hand you’ve got bigger issues. Another example of Pope thinking he’s the smartest basketball mind around

@JoeCartwright66 @keithtaylor21 The concept was having a left handed guard feeding a right handed big on pick n rolls and both being able to use their strong hand more. Left handed guard going left and a right handed big rolling right 🤯. Nowhere in that did he say the players couldnt use their off hand.
