@RPHFGO @ZafarSobhan @NoContextHumans It is smart I’ve worked in a lot of small diners and it allows those small businesses to keep the prices lower on the menu items. You don’t see that a lot in Europe because they have higher salaries and generally items are more expensive in Europe where tipping isn’t customary

If employers had to pay minimum wage or higher salaries that people like you seem to ask for: the menu prices will go up 20% anyways. Then you’d find something new to complain about.
