I don't *think* Barnes can be the best player on a title team but I am absolutely 100% convinced he can be the second-best. He is awesome and does all the things you need and has such a great APPROACH to the game. He had to grow into that, too. He had issues with that two years ago.

There’s the Simeon Woods Richardson inning we’ve come to know. It just doesn’t work. He doesn’t have near the stuff to consistently navigate big league lineups. He’s a borderline 5th starter, and cast as anything but that brutally sets you up for failure.

@MikeLucasTV Maybe if the refs actually stop allowing all the grabbing and slapping. Allowed movement we would actually watch basketball. Both teams by the way are doing it. It is excessive. Might as well be watching early 2000 Pistons.

What I would do if I was Kenny Atkinson today. Match Wade up with Barnes. Barnes creates for others. BI doesn’t. Mobley can check him. Have Allen/Bryant get up on CMB. No more freebie floaters. Dump Ellis & Schroder from rotation. Add Bryant. Doubt he does it but hope he does. #LetEmKnow

The non-rim 2PT FGA is I think is deceiving. Those looks were one one step from a layup or dunk as Barnes, Barrett & CMB were getting point blank 6-8 footers with very little resistance. Toronto will gladly continue to take those shots. Now the BG attempts are more palatable I would think for the Cavs.

Dunc'd on had some unbelievable stat pulls in their Cavs-Raps G3 Recap that made me feel better - 1.74 PPP on jump shots (20-31, 14-23 on 3s) - 17-26 on non-rim 2PT FGA As discussed on the pod, plenty of tape to attack, but hot damn those numbers are nuts

@IsaacOkoroFan Toronto played with much more intensity & made some excellent adjustments. Now it is up to Kenny to actually coach rather than his usual paint by numbers. I have my doubts, but I hope I am wrong.

Kenny Atkinson is not the reason they lost this game at all but decisions like these are maddening. Add in the Dennis minutes (3 TOs in 5 min) and you have a disaster.

Pretty embarrassing performance from the Cavs tonight Still think they clean up this series but dropping this game in specific in this nature is not ideal Raptors gained a lot of confidence and now will be fully up for game 4 (with potential Quickley returning?)

@TheKennyRoda @cavs Cavs dropped the intensity massively from the first 2 games and the Raptors came out with max effort. I think it was simple as that. We’ll see in game 4.

It got intense and physical tonight and the @Cavs folded like they've done the last 2 years in the playoffs. I know it's only one game, but this is not a good sign when things get tough to see this type of effort or lack there of from the #Cavs. #LetEmKnow

This Cavs game looked very similar to Game 3 against the Magic a couple of years ago. Cavs have their work cut out for them. Raptors made some nice adjustments and Cavs dropped the intensity. Kenny is going to have to coach. #LetEmKnow

@AaronGleeman Understood, but his glove certainly plays and has shown power potentisl at Triple A. JJ Hardy light type. Not saying super star, but certainly deserved maybe some real run in a utility role.
