Everyone gets so hung up on the bonuses. Can we do some very quick math? There are 43 events. They will now give out $400K in POTN and FOTN bonuses per event, which comes out to $17.2 million. Now there’s the $25K bonus for finishes. Let’s say there are about 550 fights a year and every one of them ends in a finish. That’s around $14 million. So that’s roughly $31 million that we’re all going crazy about. Reminder: they’re getting $1.1 billion from Paramount+ alone. That doesn’t include their deals with all the other broadcasters around the world. It also doesn’t include the litany of sponsors on the cage. It’s absurd that we get so hung up on this. It was nice to see, but it’s not that far off from what they were doing 12 or so years ago.

You’ve clearly never run a business of some scale before. $1.1 billion is not net profit. The UFC invests an insane amount of money into the sport of MMA which benefits fighters not even under the UFC banner. Not to mention the employees of the UFC that need to get paid to make the product what it is today. Anything to hate and try and make them look bad 🤦‍♀️ Maybe paying the fighters for interviews would Be helpful since you’re so Concerned with their finances

UFC is officially increasing its bonuses: Per SBJ, the bonuses are increasing from 50k to 100k. So going up from 200k a night to 400k (2 performance winners + 2 fight of the night winners). In addition, anyone who doesn’t win a “of the night” bonus but stops their opponent (T/KO or sub) will earn 25k.
