People are going to victims of the moment and want Tage gone. That is not the correct play. The Sabres probably pay him at least 4M dollar under market value. You need goal scoring, build better infrastructure around him.

@Sabremetrix I don’t know. I’m fine paying him his due AAV. I just don’t think you can justify 7-8 years of paying him. I’m rooting for a 4x10ish deal. Pay him the dollars he wants. Shorter term helps the team. And it helps him Cup chase at the end of his career if he doesn’t get one here

How many players this series would you say have played well for the Sabres? Benson, Doan, Samuelsson, and Power? Am I forgetting anyone? If they lose, it’s pretty easy to see why. That list needs to be much longer against a team as talented as the Canadiens.
