I still find the most baffling story decision in The Mandalorian the show to be him encountering Mandalorians who don’t wear their helmets who seem to be fine, and that NOT end with him realizing the helmet stuff is nonsense

The main problem with Mandalorian and Grogu is that the lead character is incredibly, famously static. You can build TV shows around static characters because the episodic format allows you to pursue satisfying B-plots. It’s harder to build movies around static characters

I think I'd be more interested in a Boys prequel if they made it so the heroes were actually good people who started out with the best intentions and it was that era's boys that were actually the villains. Through their distrust and suspicions about them, they would attempt to constantly harass, frame and destroy them. That mixed with the pressures of new celebrity causing them to snap in their own ways and become the terrible people they think they are.
We already did the shiny surface level is just a smokescreen for them being terrible people, so why not flip it and make it a commentary about prejudices, expectations and pressures to live up to impossible standards whilst being sabotaged at every turn by people who just want to prove how terrible you really are. Ironically ending up making the monsters they wanted to fight.

My last rent increase was because the landlord noticed that the market rate for the area had gone up Not because his costs went up, but because other landlords were charging more in my area and my landlord felt left out and thought I should pay him more for the same thing

Chicago police just arrested a citizen for cleaning up trash in his own community alleys and streets. His group regularly does the job the city refuses to do. This man and his organization go out and clean public spaces that local government ignores. Instead of thanking him they slapped cuffs on him. Why? Because Chicago has fat contracts with private companies that get paid to do nothing.

The AT-AT Walkers was the opening threat in ESB that set the stage for how ruthless the Empire has become in their destruction of the Rebels. Causing them to flee Hoth.

In Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 3 Bo Katan is super sad about her home being bombed & destroyed. This is particularly ironic because of how many other people’s homes she bombed & destroyed serving as a lieutenant in a terrorist organization.
