🚨 are you paying attention to what this man just said out loud.. the president of the United States just told you.. on camera.. that he expected the stock market to drop MORE than it already did.. not "I'm working to fix it".. not "we're protecting your retirement".. he said he EXPECTED it to fall further.. like he was watching a trade.. not running a country.. this is the same day he threatened Iran with a "final blow".. the same day the Pentagon leaked ground invasion plans.. the same day Goldman told you crypto bottomed.. tariffs crash the market.. war threats crash it more.. then Goldman says "buy the bottom".. then the president says "I thought it'd go lower".. you're watching a man talk about your 401k the way a day trader talks about a position he's underwater on.. 62% of Americans have their retirement in the stock market.. and the guy in charge just told you he thought it should've dropped more.. your rent went up.. your groceries went up.. your savings went down.. and somewhere in the White House a man looked at the number and shrugged.

In 1912, two French brothers were kidnapped by their father and taken aboard the Titanic. When the ship sank, he placed them on a lifeboat before he died. Upon arriving in New York, no one knew who the boys were, and they remained the "Titanic Orphans" until their mother spotted them in a newspaper. Michel Navratil (age 4) and Edmond Navratil (age 2), traveling under assumed names after being taken by their father, Michel Navratil Sr. They were among the youngest passengers aboard the RMS Titanic in April 1912. During the evacuation, their father placed them into Lifeboat D, one of the last boats to leave the ship. He did not survive. After arriving in New York, the children could not identify themselves due to their age and language barrier, and their story gained widespread media attention. Their identity was confirmed when their mother recognized their photographs published in newspapers. The brothers were later reunited with her in France. Both lived long lives, Michel died in 2001 at age 92, making him the last living male survivor of the Titanic. The final survivor of the disaster, Millvina Dean, she died in 2009. © Historical Photos #archaeohistories

I was flying Southwest from Dallas to New York. Three rows ahead of me, there was a young soldier in uniform. He looked barely 18. He was staring straight ahead, gripping the armrests. He looked nervous. When the drink cart came around, the flight attendant asked him what he wanted. 'Coke, please,' he said. 'Heading home?' she asked kindly. 'No, ma'am,' he said. 'Deploying. First time.' The whole row went quiet. The flight attendant didn't say a word. she handed him his Coke. Then, she got on the PA system. 'Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special guest in Row 8 today. Private Miller is on his first deployment to serve our country. Since I can't buy him a drink, I’m going to ask a favor. If you want to write him a note of encouragement, pass it forward.' I grabbed a napkin. I wrote: 'You got this. Stay safe. - A dad from Row 12.' I watched as napkins traveled up the aisle. Napkins, receipts, pages torn from books. By the time we landed, the soldier had a pile of paper on his tray table three inches high. He stood up to get his bag, and he was wiping his eyes. He carefully packed every single scrap of paper into his rucksack. 'Thank you,' he told the flight attendant. 'No,' she said. 'Thank you.' We all walked off that plane a little quieter, reminded that freedom is just a word until you meet the kid who is defending it. Credit: Margie Lee

Nobody remembers the name of the guard who fired the shot. But everyone who was there that night remembers Nicolas Checque. It was December 8, 2012. Somewhere in the darkness outside Kabul, Afghanistan, an American doctor named Dr. Dilip Joseph was being held captive by the Taliban. Intelligence confirmed what no one wanted to confirm: he was in imminent danger. Every hour that passed narrowed the margin between rescue and tragedy. A team of Navy SEALs moved silently through the night toward the compound. Nicolas Checque — 28 years old, from Monroeville, Pennsylvania, a kid who had wanted this exact job since middle school — was at the front. Then a Taliban guard in the courtyard spotted them. He bolted inside. In that single moment, everything changed. The element of surprise — the one thing a Special Operations mission cannot afford to lose — was gone. The hostage's life was no longer measured in minutes. It was measured in seconds. What happened next is recorded in a Navy Cross citation — the military's second-highest combat honor. The language is formal and precise, the way military language always is when it's describing something that has no adequate words. Checque didn't hesitate. He sprinted to the door and made entry. He was met with point-blank fire from an AK-47. He received a mortal head wound. He did not survive. But in those final seconds — in that doorway, in that darkness, in a country the news had largely stopped covering — his charge forward gave his teammates the opening they needed. Dr. Dilip Joseph walked out alive that night. Nicolas Checque had been chasing this life since he was a boy. He grew up just outside Pittsburgh, telling anyone who would listen that he was going to become a Navy SEAL. Not maybe. Not someday if things worked out. He was going to be a SEAL, and he arranged his entire life around making it true. When he learned his vision didn't meet the requirements, he had corrective surgery. He trained relentlessly through high school. He enlisted in 2002, the moment he was able. He earned his place in SEAL Team Six — the same unit that had located Osama bin Laden just eighteen months earlier. He had already deployed to Iraq. To Afghanistan. Multiple times. He had already earned a Bronze Star. He knew — with a specificity that most people never have to acquire — exactly what this work cost. He went back anyway. For years afterward, his Navy Cross was classified. No announcement. No ceremony the public knew about. The world didn't learn what had happened in that dark Afghan courtyard until 2016, when Checque's teammate Senior Chief Edward Byers stood in the White House to receive the Medal of Honor — and dedicated the entire moment to the man who had gone through the door first. "He lived his life as a warrior," Byers said. "He paid the ultimate sacrifice that day." There is a kind of courage that exists entirely outside the light. No cameras rolling. No crowd watching. No certainty that anyone will ever know what you did or why you did it. Just a dark doorway, a fraction of a second, and a choice between moving forward and not. Nicolas Checque made that choice at 28 years old, in the last seconds of his life, for a man whose name he may never have known. The doctor came home to his family. A SEAL Team went home one person smaller. And somewhere in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, a family carries a name the rest of us are only beginning to learn. We remember Nicolas Checque. Not for how he died. For why he moved forward.

UPDATE on the USOGA/America's Favorite Garden Gnome saga Mrs. USOGA - reporting in from the USOGA country office this morning says one of two things happened in the middle of the night. Either America's Favorite Garden Gnome (AFGG) (see below) paid us visit. Or someone else did. Gnomes are not allowed to fly unless accompanied by an adult and since it's doubtful little Gnome legs can reach the gas or brake pedals and make the drive from FL to the country office in UT - we assume it was someone in the neighborhood instead. To which we say: "Well Played Random Citizen!"

Had a parent-teacher conference this morning My wife told me not to come I came anyway She said "please just listen and nod" I said "I always listen" She said "you listen like you're sitting in a boardroom looking for something to challenge" That's how listening works Nice classroom Small chairs I am 6'4" and was seated at a desk designed for someone who still believes in Santa Claus My knees touched my chest The teacher introduced herself Shared her identified pronouns I shared my identified adjectives Smart and handsome My wife closed her eyes The teacher had a folder Color-coded tabs I respected the organization She said our son is "a pleasure to have in class" My wife smiled I waited That sentence is never the whole report It's the executive summary before the risk section She said "however" There it is She said he "asks a lot of questions" I said "good" She said "during quiet time" I said "when is quiet time?" She said "it's when students are expected to work independently and in silence" I said "so he's the only one trying to get information and you've structured the environment to prevent it?" My wife put her hand on my arm I continued The teacher said he recently told another student that "sharing pencils doesn't make sense if nobody brings their own" I said "that's an accurate observation" My wife squeezed harder The teacher said she's concerned about his "resistance to group activities" I said "he's not resistant. He just doesn't see the value of doing more work for the same grade." The teacher said he also corrected her math on the whiteboard I said "was he right?" She paused She said "that's not the point" I said "it's a little bit the point" My wife stood up Sat back down Compromise The teacher pulled out an evaluation sheet Categories like "works well with others" and "follows directions" and "respects classroom norms" All subjective Not a number on the page I asked how these are graded She said "based on observation" I said "so one person's opinion with no second review?" She said "it's professional judgment" I said "my auditors say that too. Right before I disagree with them." She looked at my wife My wife said "I'm sorry about him" I said "I'm sitting right here" My wife said "I know" The teacher said overall he's a bright kid and she just wants to make sure he learns to "collaborate" I said "collaboration is important. But so is recognizing when you're the only one doing the work. He'll learn that again in college. And again in the real world. Might as well start now." Nobody spoke The teacher closed her folder She said "I think we've covered everything" I said "one more thing" She braced herself I said "his reading is above grade level. His math is strong. He asks hard questions and corrects mistakes when he sees them. I just want to make sure this school knows what it has." The teacher looked at me differently My wife looked at me differently I said "that's all" We left In the car my wife was quiet Then she said "he's turning into you" I said "is that a good thing?" She didn't answer From the backseat he said "dad, why does the teacher count off for asking questions? Isn't that the whole point of school?" I looked at my wife She looked out the window I said "yes. It is." He said "I don't think she likes when I'm right" I didn't say anything Neither did my wife Small chairs Color-coded tabs No follow-up items But the kid's going to be fine Sent from my iPhone

Let’s get my position on the Republican Party crystal clear. I’ve been a registered Republican since Bill Clinton turned the Oval Office into his own personal brothel. Now that Senate Majority John Thune refuses to protect election integrity, I am disgusted with my party. I will NEVER vote for a Democrat in my life, but the RINO elements destroying the Republican party are a disgrace. I am a devout follower of President Trump, and as a registered Independent will continue to vote with Republicans when they stand behind this great President and act like Republicans again. Democrats, the ragtag band of con artists and grifters that they are, manage to work together in lockstep, but getting Republicans to accomplish anything is like herding cats. It’s absolutely infuriating.

Diabolically fucking EVIL. Khomeini, you demonic sack of shit...you issued the fatwa that exposed the black, rotten soul of your entire Islamic Republic: Rape the virgin female prisoners BEFORE you execute them. Not just kill them. Defile them first. Your guards were ordered to “temporarily marry” these brave dissident girls...pure, unbroken, spitting in the face of your tyranny...then pump them full of seed, shatter their bodies, and only THEN hang or shoot the broken shells. Why? Because in your psychotic, pedo-prophet death-cult theology, a virgin martyr goes straight to paradise. So you had to corrupt her purity, damn her soul, rob her of heaven itself. Metaphysical rape. Soul-fucking as state policy. This is forensic psychology laid bare, motherfuckers: the ultimate sadistic projection of weak, repressed, power-mad mullahs. Terrified of women’s unyielding spirit...the very fire that could burn your fragile caliphate to ash...you weaponize their own faith against them. Not content with physical death, you become the gatekeepers of eternity, deciding who ascends and who gets dragged to hell on your cock. Pure pathological genius. The erotic thrill of total domination masked as piety. 1980s Evin Prison. The 1988 massacre of thousands. Montazeri’s own memoirs, survivor testimonies, Justice for Iran reports...all confirm it. Sanctioned from the top. This wasn’t “excess.” This was the founding sacrament of your regime. Philosophically, it’s the abyss staring back: when “God’s law” licenses atrocity, when faith rots into totalitarian perversion, you don’t get civilization...you get a death cult where holy men are soul-rapists and paradise becomes the excuse for rape chambers. Nietzsche would vomit. Arendt’s banality of evil on bath salts. This is man playing God by becoming the Devil. PBD dropped the red pill on the podcast and the world needs to choke on it. The Islamic Republic wasn’t born in revolution. It was midwifed in the screams of virgins turned into vessels of damnation. Fuck Khomeini. Fuck every mullah still carrying his torch. Fuck every Western apologist who simps for this venom. Iranian women ripping off hijabs and chanting “Woman, Life, Freedom” are the real exorcists. Burn this shit to the ground. Exorcise the narrative. The only answer to this evil is unrelenting, lethal opposition until the last black turban is ash. DEUS VULT, you kafir-enabling rapist theocrats. 🗡️💀🗡️

How to legally insider trade 101: Join Congress You wake up at 5am. You put on a hard hat or a badge or scrubs. You drive to a job that doesn't care if you slept. You do it again tomorrow. You've been putting $100 a month into your 401k since you were 26. You don't pick stocks. You buy an index fund because that's what they told you to do. You get 8% a year if you're lucky. That's the deal. That's what regular people get. Some months you check the balance and it's down and you feel it in your chest. That's your kid's college. That's your retirement. That's every time you told your wife "not this month." You don't get to cheat. You don't know anyone. You just keep putting in the $100. Congress doesn't play by those rules. September 2008. Lehman Brothers just collapsed. The Treasury Secretary and the Fed chairman pull congressional leaders into an emergency room. So classified they take everyone's phones at the door. They tell the room the entire global financial system could collapse in days. Congressman Spencer Bachus is in that room. He's the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee. Literally the guy in charge of overseeing Wall Street. He walks out. Next morning he buys options that pay double when the market crashes. Sells days later. Profit. Same year, the Pelosis are sitting on shares of Visa they got at the IPO. She blocks a credit card reform bill. She's working for her bags. Visa pumps 2x. She makes bank. The market crashes 15%. 10 million families lost their homes. Housing dropped 27%. $4.2 trillion in household wealth just gone. Your parents' house is underwater. Your retirement is cut in half. People are losing everything. Nobody in Congress lost anything. Zero prosecutions. No consequences. So what'd they do? They did it again. January 2020. Classified Senate briefing on COVID. Most Americans haven't even heard the word yet. Senator Richard Burr walks out and writes a public op-ed. America is "better prepared than ever." Everything's fine folks. Then he dumps up to $1.7 million in stock. 33 trades. One day. Your portfolio was at an all-time high that week. You didn't touch it. Why would you. You trusted the people running the country. Two weeks later Burr is behind closed doors telling rich donors the truth. This virus is "much more aggressive than anything we've seen in recent history." He told you it was fine. He told them to get out. S&P 500 drops 34% in five weeks. Your savings of 20 years wiped in half. Just gone. Obliterated. You're sanitizing groceries in the garage wondering if your parents are gonna make it. Senator Kelly Loeffler is reallocating millions after her classified briefing. Senator Feinstein's husband dumps up to $6 million in late January. 1.1 million people died. And four senators were trading on classified pandemic briefings. No hedge fund had that intel. No pension fund. No financial advisor. Nobody. Just them. Just the people in that room. DOJ opened investigations. Quietly closed all of them. Burr finished his term. Retired with a full pension. You buried your grandmother and watched your retirement account crater. They sold at the top. Now look at this. Your savings grow 8% a year. Average hedge fund, where you need a million bucks just to get in the door. 6 to 11% a year. Top 50 hedge funds on the planet. Smartest money alive. Billions in computing power. 12.4% a year. Warren Buffett. Greatest investor who ever lived. 20% a year. Nancy Pelosi walked into Congress in 1987 with a portfolio worth $700,000. She's worth $240 million now. Her net worth is 40 times her entire lifetime government salary. 350x return. In 2024 alone her portfolio gained 71%. The S&P did 25%. She beat all of them. Every hedge fund. Every quant. Buffett. Everyone. On a government salary. Before they get power their returns are normal. After? Their trades start predicting earnings announcements before they happen. ITS A RIGGED SYSTEM. You get 8%. They get whatever they want. Because they write the rules. ABOVE THE LAW. PERFECT CHEAT CODE. Now think about this. What if you insider trade once, whether on purpose or by accident? A guy in Houston overheard his wife on a Zoom call about a company acquisition. Bought stock. Made $1.76 million. FBI showed up. Two years federal prison. Career gone. Wife gone. His lawyer told the judge he will never work again. Martha Stewart. Avoided a $45,000 loss. Five months in prison. Max sentence for insider trading is 20 years. Median is 30 months. The penalty for a member of Congress who violates the STOCK Act. $200. $200 fricking dollars. 78 members violated it in the last Congress alone. Nobody got prosecuted. Number of members of Congress ever prosecuted for trading on legislative knowledge in the entire history of the United States. Zero. 86% of Americans want to ban congressional stock trading. Can't even get a vote on it. Because the people who'd have to vote for the ban are the ones making money off it. This whole economy. $30 trillion. Built by the people waking up early and putting in the $100 a month and wearing the hard hat and the badge and the scrubs. You built it. You played by the rules. You got 8%. 535 people who never built a thing in their lives are skimming the top with information they didn't earn and immunity they gave themselves. That's the system. Its pure crime. Hypocrisy of the highest level. Insider trading for me. Prison for thee. So you want to insider trade and maybe pay a $200 fine? Join Congress and work for your bags.
