At 2:15am Mighty Mike Constantine Xirouchakis fell asleep in the Lord. As we slept together one last time, he reposed in my arms. I told him I loved him as he took his final breaths. I washed his body one last time, then read a prayer for the departed. 3/15/20-12/18/23

Normalize staring at people who don't yell like they're running into battle while lifting at the gym. Are you here to defeat your demons or make friends with them? You should be talking to Christ, not a person on the phone.

In 1912, two French brothers were kidnapped by their father and taken aboard the Titanic. When the ship sank, he placed them on a lifeboat before he died. Upon arriving in New York, no one knew who the boys were, and they remained the "Titanic Orphans" until their mother spotted them in a newspaper. Michel Navratil (age 4) and Edmond Navratil (age 2), traveling under assumed names after being taken by their father, Michel Navratil Sr. They were among the youngest passengers aboard the RMS Titanic in April 1912. During the evacuation, their father placed them into Lifeboat D, one of the last boats to leave the ship. He did not survive. After arriving in New York, the children could not identify themselves due to their age and language barrier, and their story gained widespread media attention. Their identity was confirmed when their mother recognized their photographs published in newspapers. The brothers were later reunited with her in France. Both lived long lives, Michel died in 2001 at age 92, making him the last living male survivor of the Titanic. The final survivor of the disaster, Millvina Dean, she died in 2009. © Historical Photos #archaeohistories

Sounds like blasphemy to the dogmatic... But I've been building this physique with only 1-2 sets per movement I will target a muscle with different movements to hit different divisions And I rarely do more than 3 sets per muscle per workout. 2/week. Sometimes 3 if I'm targeting a specific muscle

He was my best friend for a long time. We did everything together. People would speak to us about the other as "your brother" When he'd get drunk and sing born in the U.S.A by Bruce Springsteen at the bar, I would shout, "Ellatha!" (Greece) at "the U.S.A!" part, because he was.

I remember my youngest uncle (also named Konstantinos) playing this song for me a decade ago. He told me when he heard the lyrics it reminded him of me. I thought it was an awkarad statement and a cheesy song. But I love my uncle, and the song grew on me. youtu.be/Zdeo-i6uw5g?si…

The Constitution of Greece, Article 3, explicitly addresses the relationship between the Greek State and Greek-Orthodox Church: 1. The prevailing religion in Greece is that of the Eastern Orthodox Church of Christ. The Orthodox Church of Greece, acknowledging our Lord Jesus Christ as its head, is inseparably united in doctrine with the Great Church of Christ in Constantinople and with every other Church of Christ of the same doctrine, observing unwaveringly, as they do, the holy apostolic and synodal canons and sacred traditions. It is autocephalous and is administered by the Holy Synod of serving Bishops and the Permanent Holy Synod originating thereof and assembled as specified by the Statutory Charter of the Church in compliance with the provisions of the Patriarchal Tome of June 29, 1850 and the Synodal Act of September 4, 1928. 2. The ecclesiastical regime existing in certain districts of the State shall not be deemed contrary to the provisions of the preceding paragraph. 3. The text of the Holy Scripture shall be maintained unaltered. Official translation of the text into any other form of language, without prior sanction by the Autocephalous Church of Greece and the Great Church of Christ in Constantinople, is prohibited. ---- Greek Constitution was created on the basis of Orthodoxy. Plain and simple. From the first revolutionary constitutions (1822, 1823, 1827) through those of 1844, 1864, 1911, 1952, and up to 1975, there has always been a reference to the Orthodox Church as the prevailing religion. Early constitutions began with an invocation "In the name of the Holy and Consubstantial and Indivisible Trinity". For example the first constitution of the Kingdom of Greece was the "Greek Constitution of 1844" and the first words were "In the name of the Holy, Consubstantial and Indivisible Trinity".

Trad West@trad_west_

The current Constitution of Greece, adopted in 1975 and revised several times since, begins with the exact phrase: "In the name of the Holy and Consubstantial and Indivisible Trinity." This phrase serves as a traditional religious invocation or quasi-preamble before the main body and fundamental provisions of the text. It reflects the historical and cultural significance of the Eastern Orthodox Church in the country, which is formally recognized later in Article 3 of the constitution as the "prevailing religion" of the Greek state.
