Fact-check: I keep seeing people commenting on this video, usually claiming that Musk's Cybertruck is unsafe because of lack of crumple zones. There's no evidence of that in the video, no evidence of anything wrong at all. If you compare to other full frontal crash tests on YouTube, you really can't see the difference in crumple zones. We won't know for sure until the NHTSA or IIHS releases the data/measurements about what those passengers experienced. All of existing Tesla models are at the top of industry on safety ratings. I'm willing to predict that when the data is disclosed, the same will be true of the Cybertruck. More importantly to driver/passenger safety is the fact that the Cybertruck won't be mowing down pedestrians. All the competing electric trucks have huge front ends that make it impossible to see immediately in front of the car -- fricking huge bonnets.

@inkysputter @TafferKing451 Shopkeepers refresh their stock whenever a single character goes through the level up sequence. Tav, 6 (?) party members, 3 hirelings… hit up Aaron with a pickpocket whenever it’s time to level everyone up.

@TafferKing451 Where do you even get 87,000 gold? I typically get into Act 3 with five or six grand, and I thought I was being pretty through. Raiding the bank and keeping the stolen 10k is usually another 25k or so. Most I've ever had at one time was 35k. Where does the rest come from?

Someone was able to instantly nuke a late game boss in Baldur’s Gate 3 by using a weapon that has an affix called “Blood Money” that deals weapon damage + 4 piercing damage for every 300 gold the target has. They reversed pickpocketed 87,000 gold into the boss’ pockets.

My fool godson, William, went down to the basement to get a snack four days ago I told him--every time I tell him--to COUNT the stairs as he goes down. There's only 12. If it goes to 13, come back up and try again. And don't follow the thing singing down there But does he listen?

@failOpen The way I did it, since it’s a multiple choice exam with an open question pool: rote memorization using Anki. A few questions a day will get you there eventually.

I turned 37 today, but I still don’t feel like an actual adult. In my mind, I’m still 22. So, is there a point where you actually FEEL like a grownup? Seriousl question.

When we say Kyiv is winning the information war, far too often we only mean information spaces we inhabit. Pulling apart the most obvious RU info op to date (as we did using semantic modelling), very clear it is targeting BRICS, Africa, Asia. Not the West really at all.

The rage & fear you feel after the Russian invasion are ancient parts of your mind preparing - like clockwork - for a world of conflict. After 10 years of research in the lab & field, it is surreal to feel it unfold in my own mind A 🧵 on what happens & with what effects (1/16)

Tonight we are going to ring in the new year with meats, cheeses, pretzels and Champagne! I love that the nice people at Nordic Knot even spelled out 2022 with the pretzels.
