I find there is no will from the city to provide a safe bike path. There is zero maintenance happening. It looks like a war zone... What happened to the cycle friendly vision for CPT?

@JohanAMarais @AlanWinde666 @helenzille @carteblanchetv @geordinhl The problem stems from the illegal occupation on the adjacent Transnet and PRASA land. Law Enforcement does regular patrols, but due to the many demands on our services, officers are unable to remain static in one particular area.

Just excuses for not being able to make this a cycle friendly city, which it is clearly not.

The security car sits behind me on the buslane through Woodstock Mile, keeping me safe. The traffic car, hoots, put sirens on and wave arms to get me off the bus lane onto the dark & dangerous bike path. Who cares the most, do you think? @alanwinde @geordinhl @CityofCT
