So long, 2023. An interesting year to reflect on: my discretionary spending in many categories increased a lot despite reduction in quantity and frequency for many things. I started computed comparisons with 2018 data and decided to close Excel and skip the pain.

@TessFerrandez With the minimal APIs. When I add the requirement that only the user related to a todo should be able to list, update and delete, there's quite a few services that needs to be added to the static methods signatures, "cluttering" the code. Controllers is quite cleaner.

@donasarkar Accept that you have to change, and make it a priority! If it's not important enough for you it won't happen. Also, it doesn't have to be 10k at once. Get up 30 minutes earlier, take a power walk, then you're likely almost at 4-5k.

Everyone says that we should get 10k steps a day. That’s almost 5 miles! I manage fine when I’m traveling by wandering around cities but have never managed during a normal workday in Seattle. 10K per day-ers…how do you manage with desk jobs w/back-to-back meetings??
