@PaddyG96 There used to be some advice regarding length of videos for new channels, where if you don’t have a following you have built trust with / the videos shouldn’t be more than 8-12 minutes (to reduce «investment»). Has this changed? Can 20-30 minutes video work?

@InterestingSTEM I didn’t read all the comments, but I’m amazed how all the ones I read are wrong.
To make that 1% count as 2%, there needs to be only 50 people in the room. 1/50 = 2%. Meaning 99 minus 49 will need 50 people to leave.

@yongfook That creatorbuddy app looks like shit, and there are no evidence for the revenue. I call bullshit

@SypherPK I was there a month ago. Was so sad to see Oni gone, but glad to see you still got the studio.

@PaddyG96 I am currently launching a brand new channel where I travel the world to hunt treasures. It’s high quality footage with textbook storytelling loops. Think Nathan Drake meets Airrack. For this format would you recommend 35-40 min videos or 10-15 minutes?

@YouTubeInsider @TeamYouTube I’m a fairly successful TikTok creator and I’ve been working towards making a new original series for YouTube. It costs a lot of time and money to do it well.
But the recent issues have really scared me. Banning accounts wrongfully and no one fixing it seems like a nightmare

I'm human. Also a creator. I care enormously. @TeamYouTube are some of the very best humans I've ever met. They care about creators to a truly heroic degree
No one is perfect. Not every decision is perfect. Not everyone is happy even with very carefully considered decisions. We hear it, we work really hard to help and to constantly improve. We care. A lot 💛

@YouTubeInsider Creators are being removed because of YouTube’s broken AI mistakes — and there’s absolutely no real care for creators anymore.

@MrBeast I'm an autistic YouTuber with Ulcerative Colitis who's into analytics like some kids are into trains. Here's what I was staring at when I read your post. Reach out!

@SypherPK Bro never streams anymore. Oni Studios are dead. And now he takes vacation? Rip

@PaddyG96 I just visited Austin to make some F1 content in collaboration with TikTok and Aston Martin, and I 100% agree with your list. Definitely going back to Austin🔥
Too bad you didn’t see my DM, I wanted to invite you to an Aston Martin VIP party 👌 Maybe next time

Two years ago I moved to the USA, after 27 years in Europe.
As a creator (and business owner), here are some thoughts on the move:
1. Success is visible in America, the country champions it and shoves it in your face. Europe often hides success.
2. Creators are taken seriously here. In Europe, I was laughed at when applying for a mortgage.
3. I never once felt unsafe in a major European city. I quickly learned that’s not the case here. Violent crime rates are often 3-5x higher here.
4. Europe in general feels calm and balanced. America’s energy, by contrast, is chaotic and fast. Things move faster here and it’s harder to settle.
5. Daily sunshine is 90% higher where i live now (Austin) vs where I lived in Europe. Even the northern states have good sunshine hours.
6. Cars are so much cheaper. Including European cars. I bought a car in America for $38k that would have cost $70k at home.
7. There’s simply a much higher density of creators and entrepreneurs in the USA. Every major city has its own community.
8. You can build your life here, design it how you want. Europe makes you feel much more like you have to conform.
9. Americans are so good at selling themselves. You have to be careful with this. Everyone will try to convice you they are worth your time. They aren’t.
10. I’m sorry, but I can’t get over how bad the average driving standard is here. Every day I see incredibly sketchy things on the roads. What is going on?
11. Tax here is so much lower, even in California and New York. Young people in big cities have more disposable income.
12. Being here is good for business. The network effects are real. Within 3 months of moving, I signed more business than I had in the previous 9 months in Europe.
13. America isn’t in proximity to as many good vacation spots as Europe. Going to Mexico or the Caribbean is great, but still doesn’t beat south of France or Spain.
14. I’m blown away by how many young men here make 50k-100k a year but live like multi-millionaires. Car financing, credit card debt. It’s honestly scary.
15. American enthusiasm is intoxicating. This country turned me from an introvert to an extrovert.
16. Europe “feels” richer and more sophisticated. The roads, infrastructure and quality of life is still hard to beat.
I love both Europe and the USA.
It’s just the energy in the air here. That energy man… it pushes you, challenges you.
I think if you are a creator or founder with a chance to move to America in your 20s… do it.

We’re opening up cohort 8 applications for our 8 week YouTube accelerator.
I teach everything I know that generates me over 10 billion views a year with my clients.
We’ve taken creators from:
- 1k views per video to 200k

And so many more insane case studies (check our site).
It’s an 8 week program that’s designed to equip you with world class YouTube strategy.
You get 25 hours of live teaching time from me, personalised feedback on your content and an incredible community to keep you accountable.
Honestly… I always undersell it. People leave this cohort blown away by how much work my team and I put into educating and guiding our students.
If you want to absolutely crush Q4 on YouTube and start the year with momentum, get an application in below!
Even if you’ve applied before. Try again. My team reviews every application.
I’ll pick one creator who likes and RTs this and give them a 100% paid for scholarship (worth $1000s) to cohort 8 ❤️
