To me this is the most significant development on the XRPL for institutional and SME use. It's a fundamental prerequisite.
If you combine this with programmable/trust minimizing architectures like what @FlareNetworks is building (Fassets, FDC, TEEs) you have a truly unstoppable DeFi framework.
