In fact, these are all tremendous understatements. Donna and I are praying for Dana and the entire Bernhard family — including the Bernhard Capital Partners family — and we hope they all find peace knowing Jim’s legacy will live on for generations.

As a country, the path we’re headed down is troubling, to say the least. I hope that in next year’s election, the people of LA will reject the extremist politicians that have paralyzed progress in this nation. I’m going to do all I can as a private citizen to advance that cause.

Their letter to the state of LA even says explicitly that the info in the report wouldn't have impacted the decision to grant a permit. The letter does state, however, that the permit is being suspended because the state stopped work on the project. #lagov #lalege

Anybody that maintains that I or my admin withheld information from the Corps is simply wrong. Gov. Landry, once again, has his facts wrong. His attempt to scapegoat is exactly why partisan politics has no place in LA’s coastal restoration work, but he can’t help himself. #lagov
